My boyfriend asked me to order this light to be used in a campervan and I must admit that I wasn't keen at first as I thought it might look a bit cheap and plasticy (and I'm really not a fan of plastic), but once it was fitted it actually looked very smart. It's smaller than you expect from the picture on the packaging, but that was a good thing because it looked better for it. The flexible cable is very long however, making it a very versatile light which can be used for many purposes in a car or van. We used it as a map reading light, but mounted in such a place so that it could be extended and used as a light for the pop top. It works very well for this purpose but it could equally be used to light a campervan wardrobe or cupboard.

Great, works really well. Good quality too, much better than a cheap light under £10. The light is soft and spreads over a wide distance to make map reading easy for a passenger (unlike an LED pinpoint of a light which this isn't). The 'neck' / bendy cable is a good length too and not short. NOTE though, it's got an extra plastic rim around the connector that's clearly for larger sockets, so i had to remove it to make it fit which is easy enough, just pulls off.

As described. My only point, though a minor one, and a personal preference, I would have liked the on/off button to have a more positive feel. Perhaps a larger bump so it can be found by feel and better feedback when actuating it. Other than that just what I wanted

I have had these lights since the 80s in halogen, recently got the cigarette lighter LED and this is perfect for my camper which has poor light on the HVAC control. Buy it, if the LED last as long as the old style, you will get your money's worth.

This is a great product and we would buy it again It just works perfect . As a van life youtuber quality products we can rely on are a must for us to keep making content and this was a great buy

Had these fitted into my camper. They are not strong enough for reading by but are ok to provide some illumination. If you need lights to read by get something stronger

Bought to replace the roof bed light on our VW California. Fits perfectly but as yet unfitted because I managed to mend the original.

Went for the hard-wired version (over the cig lighter type) & it fits the existing holes in my VW California (2014:T5.1 model)

BOUGHT THIS FOR MY MOTORHOME. iT WAS A NICE LENGTH AND BEING FLEXIBLE COULD BE BENT INTO THE MOST AWKARD SPACES

Does what it says on the box. Gives off a great light. Has worked very well in the car.

Haven't used it yet on the move, the locking ring does not fit into the 12v socket.!
