Most unusually for Amazon, we were very disappointed with this lamp. It is unsteady on its base and, while the length is adjustable, the angle at which it stands is not. Does not feel like a product originally priced at over £100, and even £60 seems too much to us. It needs a slightly unusual bulb, yet arrived without one. The packaging was awful (hard to unpack, with endless polystyrene which attaches itself to everything and is really difficult to clear up). Altogether, really hard to recommend.We've decided reluctantly to keep it as we can't be bothered with all that packaging again, and it just (only just) about does the job.

This lamp appears to have a design fault in that the base is not heavy or big enough to keep the lamp from toppling over at the slightest touch.
