i have always had dogs and always bought collars by measuring the size of the dogs neck and buying by that measurement.i.e.the collar would be made to fit that size neck.however this collar was the actual measurement i stated from end to end therefore did not fit.this was not made clear and i returned the collar.the actual collar seemed very well made but they need to make clear that the collar lenghth stated is the length of collar and not the size neck it will fit.
