I am happy with my purchase of this battery; at first i thought, oh! It doesn't last very long does it! But then i read the instructions which clearly says remove batteries after use! Huh! Typical not to read the instrcutions right! lol But since then, the battery has lasted a longer time before needing a recharge.It's not always practical to be removing and placing your baterry in and out all day but if you know your on your way to your event and there are huge gaps between the taking of photo's, then it should be worth the trouble giving you time before you arrive to pop your battery back into the camera and be photo ready!I find that if your filming a video on your camera,

Nikon branded Li-ion batteries are nearly always very expensive. Right? Well, almost.Compared with my Nikon DSLR's cells, this much smaller 3.7v job is a fraction of the cost and so the desire/need to get cheaper unbranded ones for your Coolpix is less. Mine came with my S8200 model and despite actually getting a very cheap second one from 7 Day Shop, I've never actually had to use that one.The Nikon one charges fairly quickly and keeps the Coolpix going for ages. Even if you use all the electronic zooming, videoing and image viewing, it'll still be going at the end of the day, even if you're not! Use it less regularly and charging will be few and far between, probably just as a top-up boost,

Item was quickly sent, well packed and in good condition, It wasn't cheap, but as it was the real thing from an official main dealer, that's as expected. It's in and working in our AW110, and doing fine so far.If it turns out with experience that we need more spare batteries, we may consider other makes, but John Lewis where we bought the camera warned us against using anything but genuine Nikon products.Carmarthen Cameras got the sale as they have a real shop where we could phone real camera-savvy assistants and settle any questions.('Er indoors has managed a couple or three camera shops in her time, and it was nice to get the same traditional service we used to maintain).

Reading the reviews before I purchased this item, I must admit I was a bit dubious, because of the number so called fake entries in the feed back archives. When I received the item I was pleasantly surprised as what I received did indeed look genuine with all the correct holograms, which I believe are hard to fake, I have used it quite a bit and recharged it a couple of times now and it is behaving exactly as I would expect it to, so if it is a fake, then it's a bloody good one. At half the price of the ones on the Nikon store it seems to be very good value and I have no issues with it what so ever and would happily buy more when I need them.

This compact Lithium Ion battery pack charges quickly and provides quite a kick for your picture taking. I found it lasted well into three figures for stills as well as quite a few sequences shot in video. My Coolpix S9100 was fine tuned to max for both categories. I suppose it depends on the type of shooting you undertake as to how long a particular charge lasts. I am very pleased with the battery, but, as I find I am shooting quite a bit to learn more about the camera, I have purchased a second battery to make sure I have power when I need it. The charger which came with the camera is also very simple to use as well.

Checked with seller to see if these were genuine. I was informed they were genuine, unused, but not packaged in original Nikon box. I was a little sceptical about this, but on delivery and very close inspection I am pleased with them and as sure as I can be they are original Nikon. Have used these whilst on holiday in the Artic in quite cold conditions as low as -10 C. There were no problems with the batteries and they performed as expected.Some Duracell compatible batteries bought prior to these from a different supplier had to be returned due to a slight difference in size and shape. Camera was Nikon AW110.

I bought two EN EL-12 batteries described as being from 'Nikon' via two different suppliers. A1 Deals provided one which looked like the one which accompanied my Nikon P300 camera. It was packaged in a Nikon box. It had a plastic contacts cover. It had the documentation. It looked pristine. Simpleshop2000 provided one which came in a cheap looking sealed plastic bag, no contacts cover, no box, no documentation. The lettering was faded, the contacts looked used, the hologram did not look right. I returned it and had my money refunded. Both batteries cost about the same (£22), beware.

I bought this battery after a lot of research. I have a new Nikon s9300 and felt i would need an extra battery. Jessops and other main retailers charge a fortune for the same OE product so i turned to the internet. After its first full charge it was put through its paces on a trip to Mt Snowdon, then on holiday to Spain with no charge inbetween. After a great deal of use on all modes (sport, flash, video etc) it survived for several hundred brilliant photos. For the price i can simply not see why you would look any further.

it is what I wanted. Only minor (very minor) complaint is that I had ordered this for next day delivery (along with the accompaningnikon camera) well within the ordering time on friday 31st Oct. It ,and the camera didnt arrive till sunday 2nd Nov...ie 2 days.But I like the camera a lot already and have fired off a few shots. Today the bag arrived from GEM.I have to ask if you chargedme 'next day delivery ' as it was part of the original order although it didnt arrive tilll today.

Got this genuine Nikon branded battery, as a back-up for our Coolpix S9100. We have had various troubles in the past with "compatible" batteries when they ran low, like shutting down suddenly without even time to retract the lens into the camera body.Interestingly the original battery supplied with camera was made in Japan but this otherwise identically marked replacement battery is made in China. Let's hope it is just as good - seems to be so far.

I bought these as extra back up for a short holiday, as I'm a bit of a photo addict - they seem fine, they last a long time but take quite a while to charge too! I've just noticed that there are some external chargers for these batteries on Amazon - I'll be getting one of these soon - hopefully they'll charge quicker than the camera - freeing me up to use the camera with another battery whilst charging spares.

Before I discovered this retailer I had enquired at a well-known High Street chain whether I could obtain a spare battery for my Nikon S2800 camera. I was told I could order one which would cost £41; I said that was almost the cost of the camera, which was £65, so when I found this retailer selling the same item for £13 I was delighted. Beryl.

Lithium ion battery pack EN-EL19, 3.7V 700mAh 2.6Wh. For a battery this small the performance is outstanding. It measures a tiny 39 x 31 x 6mm. I've used this battery in the Nikon 3100 and 2500 Coolpix cameras and found it to be more than capable of everyday use. The recharge time is quick via USB to camera.A great little power pack.

It came in very useful on holiday when the battery in my camera ran out one day. It's as good as the original. The only drawback is that batteries have to be in the camera to be charged which can be a bit of a nuisance at times. I think you can get a separate charger but that's extra expense when some cameras provide that in the box.

The item was delivered fast by Royal Mail and it seems as though this is an actual nikon product! Nikon advise to use only nikon EN-EL12 batteries that have the holographic number at the bottom and this does. Haven't used it yet as it's a gift, but excellent price for a genuine nikon product
