This is an original Nikon battery model EN-EL14If you are wondering if it will fit or not your camera, just have a look at the original battery that arrived with your camera and look for the batteries model number.I have a Nikon D5300 and I can say both batteries are identical.Same capacity, lettering, hologram.This is simply the spare battery that we must all have ready and charged for our cameras.It's more expensive than other copies, yes, but it's an original Nikon.You spend good money on your camera, why would you risk it's performance time with a cheap compatible battery?An original battery will always last more than the more affordable batteries available in the market.I hope my review has been helpful to you,

Superb to get an authentic battery.You'll need to charge it, use it, and recharge it to get the normal usage out of it (the same length of use as with the supplied camera battery). The first use, like with any rechargeable battery, is going to be slight less long lived than subsequent charges.Being an authentic part it of course fits perfectly.Nice to have a spare battery in the bag for those exceptional days where one takes an exceptionally high number RAW pictures and movies! (I have a Nikon D3300 which of course does both, and movies are of course the real battery drainers although one can get hours of movies on a single battery).Highly recommended addition to the camera bag!

Its a battery, it allows my D5500 Nikon DSLR to operate. Without it it would be a fancy door stop.When it expires, I imagine it will go to the recycling unless I can think of a more imaginitive use.It charges up just like a battery should and then discharges into my camera while it takes pictures and stuff, again just like it should.A really useful bit of kit for a Nikon Camera. Kind of pointless to buy one unless you have one. Unless you plan on buying loads of spares parts off Nikon and doing a build your own DSLR project. I would look elsewhere for buying a battery to power your cordless toaster.Do you get cordless toasters?

Great quality "Nikon Camera Battery EN-EL 14a" as it is made of great quality and is it is not one of those of those cheap versions, as also I bought two of these batteries, both are great quality.So very recommended, as so these days are expensive and especially of quality of these type of Batteries, as well as of the many fake batteries on the market too, as these batteries have a very good long life...Also great Rapid-Fast Dispatch from the seller, so another recommendable thing of a buying from a trustworthy seller, which is sometimes rare for a decent seller too...Many Thanks...

This genuine Nikon battery is higher than standard capacity batteries with enough extra shots to make the small price difference so much worth while.I have a Nikon D3300 and although the genuine Nikon battery lasts for many, many shots I decided to buy a spare for holiday's and long days and weekend's out where you never want to run out of battery power.This is a brilliant battery and I would recommend this genuine Nikon EN-EL14a battery, as in previous years I have been tempted to go for the cheaper non Nikon batteries in the past which has proved such false economy.Peter

My camera has shown itself to be choosy so I was specifically looking for an authentic Nikon battery. The feedback on the Gil Enterprise offerings was very encouraging so I gave it a try. It arrived very quickly. It looked like the real thing as far as I could see, and much more top the point, my camera accepted it so now its on charge.Who knows what the future will hold? But so far I'm very happy with my purchase - it's passed the first hurdle!

I bought this having bought another from a different seller and it didn't work - Nikon D5200 showed a warning message not to use.This one however arrived part charged and works perfectly, holds the charge a long time too - there are a few choices for this battery , but I can confirm this one is a good one, through lots of use its been drained and recharged several times and does last longer than the battery supplied with the camera.

I use this with my D5200. Took the camera to Italy recently, day 1 to Pompeii and Ercolano, day 2 to Capri.The days were sunny so much to shoot and video, almost 400 large fine photos. Unlike the battery that comes with D5200 that seems to exhaust only after couple of hours, only at the end of day 2 EN-EL14a started to flash red.Great buy, rather than having another EN-EL14 battery just £5 cheaper.

Bought it before we went on location without access to electricity. Fortunately I charged the extra battery before we left as we had to use it to finish the video shoot. The battery works well and I might even buy another just in case shoots go on longer than expected.Is it worth £54.99? A bit pricey but yesWould I buy again? Great official product, now I have two of these, and if i charge them both before a trip I can get away without having to charge for 4 days. Worth it if you're hiking or on some other activity where electricity may be scarce. Compared to my non-nikon batteries these last twice as long, up-to-you if you want to pay the extra £££. I think so, less batteries to manage then.

This the second battery I've ordered having lost my previous one. I always look for deals when it comes to accessories rather than pay over the odds for so called originals but not with batteries. I feel it's better to get the original battery for peace of mind knowing it's going to recharge no problem and won't die the death on you half way through the day. Recommended

I purchased an alternative supplier of my battery at what I thought would be a good reduction, how wrong could you be, the replacement lasted for about two charges, so I have now purchased the real McCoy and it working perfectly ok, so I could saved money by spending the right amount originally. I cannot say better, if you want good quality, then pay for it.

This is my extra battery for my D3300. It is one of the most important accessories you can buy. It loads less than 2 hours, which will depend especially if you use Live View,and on the use of various camera functions such as Wi-Fi ... (actual battery eaters). (This item cheaper UK on the site, than on the French site, shipping costs realized). Thank you.

Works Perfectly for a Nikon D3200, this charge lasts longer than the kit battery, If you're constantly changing settings to your camera whiles away from a charging source then this is perfect, one lasts me an entire day and possibly longer, I've yet to use this battery on SET for filming where I am constantly changing settings for different scenes.

This is my extra battery for my D5300. It is a must have in your kit, the most important accessory you can buy for any camera. It charges very quickly, well under 2 hours, and it has a reasonable life that will depend mostly on whether you use LiveView or not, and on the usage of various camera features such as wi-fi and GPS (real battery eaters).
