My three year old girl loves this game. It's one of the few she can navigate the menus herself as every message and menu item is spoken out and navigation is by way of steering the Wiimote (a la Mario Kart) which avoids the more precise Wiimore aiming normally used on the Wii (alternatively the Wiimote cursor keys can be used). The games are very varied and the Dora characters give it immediate familiarity and appeal. Especially good is that the game provides varying levels of exercise without making a fuss about it: perfect for those rainy winter days stuck at home. The game achieves longevity by rewarding the child with various medals, trophies and ribbons as games are played and completed. Some of the games are quite simple (jumping over hurdles merely involves the child jumping at the right moments) whilst others, like the bowling, involve more strenuous movements. More complicated variants of the games are unlocked as the simpler ones are mastered which extends playing time still further. All in all I think this is the most successful game we've bought so far. It's certainly the one with the most thought put into its use by children which is great for building their independence.

The game is great, my boy is 3 and half years old and he is great at it. At first i had to play the game, for him to see how to do it( likes to see others before trying anything). great thing is that you always get a gold or silver medal so he feels very proud. Every friend ( Diego..) do different activities, my son loves cycling, bowling and skateboarding the most.I told him to do all games with remote without wii fit board( otherwise he might jump on it)which is a great feature. if you have a young kid, they will enjoy it.Another great feature is that child does not need to know how to read( have to recognize the letters for their profile)so all instructions are read out by characters in the game in clear, easy to understand language and accent and if they do get stuck and do not do the movements properly, little image comes of on left hand side on what to do. Great game as single player or multi player.ONE MORE THING- when i put game into the console i had to do an update( 10 seconds)- just follow the instructions, then i tried the game and the same message came up- "update needed" so i believed the game is faulty,But another update was done( 30-40 seconds) and the game was on.

Bought this for almost-4 yr old who always has endless energy, in the hopes that it would give a rainy-day alternative physical activity for him. It meets that need perfectly - pogo racing, cycling etc get him properly out of breath whilst having great fun.My one complaint would be the navigation. You move around the menus by tilting the wiimote rather than using arrow keys or pointing, and this causes endless frustration, as both my son and I struggle to move just one place along/down at a time. It means that I need to help every time he wants to change activity, so at least every 5 mins. The other annoyance is on selecting a game, you then have to choose whether you are using the balance board.Given the unlikeliness of me convincing my child that he can pogo without actually jumping, we don't even connect up the board, so surely it would make more sense for this to be set in the parental options menu?Overall, a great set of games which my son loves playing and which burn off that excess energy in fun ways with characters he recognises.

I bought this for my 4 year old as she had trouble playing most of her older sister's Wii games. I wanted something she could do without help that didn't involve plonking her in front of a cartoon/movie.The idea behind Nickelodeon Fit is good as it is aimed at young ones and there are lots of different activities that they can easily master however my daughter won't play it on her own which defeats the object. My older daughter finds it boring so won't do it with her. Sadly no matter how often I bring this out of the cupboard my little one will not show an interest in it. When I bring out the Wii Dance Juniors however she'd play that for hours. She also loves Mario Kart although she isn't great at steering - I'd love if they brought out a junior/slower version of Mario Kart to let little ones get the hang of steering!I would still recommend this game for younger children and I am hanging on to Nickelodeon Fit in case perhaps she's too young now and in a year or so she may be happier to play it.

Ordered this on sunday for my three year old daughter as i had read the reviews and sounded fun. It arrived in the post a few hours ago and she hasnt left it since. The game is very simple to follow as all actions are explained verbally. Theres no chance of losing or feeling that you always come last as the game goes at your childs own speed. Mine has been winning gold and silver medals and unlocking new games all afternoon! The game also does not seem to need an awful lot of co-ordination as any movement made will keep the game in motion.Overall this is one of the best purchases ive made of late and is also keeping my seven year old entertained since she got back from school. Now i know how we're gona spend all those days of miserable weather lol.......

My 3 year old loves this game and it's nice to find something on the wii that he can do independently as Wii fit is a bit beyond him as are many other games we have. The controls are so simple that he can't be bothered to wait for the explanation screen before the game begins, he just goes straight to the game and if there is a problem, then a little man comes up in the corner of the screen and acts out the movement needed. We even took it to play with his older cousins and they still enjoyed it (in fact the eldest(9) was found playing it alone after everyone else had gone off to do something else!) Having said that,I think there was a little of the novelty factor about that and that older children would get bored quite quickly.

This game is brilliant even if a little expensive. There's a good choice of games & characters to play along with. Once you mastered a game a higher level is unlocked which reqires a bit more skill to master so it keeps the attention of the player. Quite a few games have a choice of playing using balance board or remote and different games require using different muscle groups or concentrate on skills such as balance. It's a great little workout whilst having lots of fun. I bought this as a fun but effective rehab/physio for 6 year who had recently had SDR spinal surgery & we found it to be really usefull way to practice & improve movement skills on a rainy day.

My children got a Wii for Christmas but my 4 year old was struggling a bit with how to use the handheld remote and how to actually play some of the games. After reading the reviews I ordered this for his recent birthday. It is fantastic for this age group as it has the characters he recognises, doing things he likes, riding bikes etc and most of the individual games are really easy to understand as the screen is showing them were to point or how to move the remote. It has enabled him to put these new skills into use and to have a better understanding of some of the slightly older games that his brother uses.

Received this game the other day and my little boy is never off it. He is 5 and I thought he might be a bit old for it but it is great. Having Diego and Dora and all the others to play alongside is a brilliant idea and he loves helping the backyardigans with the bowling game. We only have the hand held control so this wii game is brilliant and he doesn't need any help at all. Great for keeping your kids fit and also entertained. I would recommend it to anyone with kids and even my husband had a go at the skipping which was also very entertaining. Best thing ever.

I bought this for my 3 year old as the other kids fitness games were either not very good or too old for him. This is perfect and he loves it! There's loads he can do on it, it has all his favourite characters. He loves getting the medals and ribbons as rewards and gets very excited when a new game is unlocked. We have the wii fit board and this can be used with the game which is a bonus, it can be fully used without though you don't need to have the board. My son gets some good exercise from it and is always puffed out at the end! Result! Highly recommended.

We have been struggling to find an interesting game for our 4 year old who desperately wants to play the wii because her 7 year old brother does - the only 2 games we found before this that held were the Dora and Diego games - but they are a little repetative. This one is great -it is basically a wii fit game but with Nickolodeon charectors and a narrator that talks in kids language (stand on Tippy toes) without sounding to patronising to annoy the grown ups in the room.Overall the best WII game we have seen for 3/4 year olds.

My little girl loves this as she does find the other wii games too challenging, ie just dance, wii fit etc, (although she does try her hardest), loved the fact that you can use the wii controller or the board, the wii controller is perfect as she does have a tendency to jump which would break the wii board. Good choice of games which are perfect for her age group, downside is that there does not appear to be a lot of options for multi player, but would recommend this game to any 3 year old.

We bought this game for our 3 year old daughter as an easter present rather than more chocolate. We have the wii fit but it wasn't suitable for her which is why we decided to try this one. Our daughter absolutely loves this game and likes the fact that she is rewarded with medals!! We have all been playing on it so is suitable for all ages and great for some family time especially on a rainy day! It's great to keep kids active while they are having lots of fun.

Bought this for my four year old son who is a bundle of what seems to be limitless energy! He's quite active and likes to get out a lot so got this for rainy days. There are enough games to keep him interested and it is challenging enough for him. Once I've logged him in he can choose for himself which games he wants to play so I can leave him to it and get some peace for half an hour! Loads of fun, if you have young children its a great buy.

I purchased this on amazon for my 4 year old son and he loves it so much!!!I really dont like the idea of my son playing computer games at such a young age but he has already got the computer game bug by playing mario kart with his daddy for a special treat so this was a game that wouljd keep him entertained plus keep him active and its is definelty worth the money as he loves playing it so money well spent!!!
