I'm new to NHL but I've found this enjoyable and pretty easy to pick up and I'm gradually getting better. I thought the on ice trainer would be really useful but all it seems to do is state the obvious, such as "get the puck" even if you turn the trainer level up. It could also do with a few more difficulties, I'm finding pro ok for the moment, usually winning by large margins but I get absolutely battered on all-star, so it could do with an extra one or two levels.The different modes available are really good and it's cheap to buy digitally at the moment. It's fairly similar in design to FIFA, so as a long time FIFA player I'm finding the transition from grass to ice straightforward.

Definitely a step up in the NHL series and one which really fills in all the gaps which NHL 15 left.Favourite game modes are back such as penalty shootout (on and offline), season mode and a more refined online range. Player customisation also has been tweaked so almost everything can be edited as seen in previous NHL games.Gameplay is more fluid and its seen in how the playes move. The graphics seem a little more refined in comparison to NHL 15 but the addition of things such as mascots and crowd chants only add to the experience.Sadly it does feel a bit like NHL 15 with a few more features. As someone from the UK who has never watched NHL or played previous games I'm really enjoying this game. I thought since the new FIFA was so bad maybe this will be ok and it was. Had great fun on be a pro and on the hockey league online playing with others. The graphics are stunning and the game plays so well. It isn't too difficult or too easy. The only downside to it is that like FIFA I can hardly ever find someone to play with while searching for an online game. Great game though well worth buying if you like hockey. I especially love the detail the game has put into the crowd with some holding up boards with messages addressed to the player, makes it much more immersive and fun.

Finally my favourite franchise has truly demonstrated its ability to compete with EA sports fellow annual sports game offerings. The immersive, realistic and free-flowing gameplay is phenomenal. A must buy!

NHL 16 I had this on pre-order and again another great game from this many award winning franchise, fantastic game and if you don't want the latest version of the game then this will be great to pick up

Delivery stated between 11/11-20/11 ended up getting it the 9/11 so happy with delivery, product exactly what I wanted and cheaper than priced in shops in uk. Thank Beat the Bomb

Was an awesome game great depth of play and control for both league and be a pro mode! Love the details in the game play and team work! Very worth while!

NHL is a lot better that last year with all the game modes back. been getting nhl sinces 1993 and love it.if you are a hocky fan then its a must.wally

Love this game. Never get bored of it, definitely buy it if you want a hockey game but don’t want to spend lots on the new one!

Great game, only problem is EA servers... they do suck.... game although is great fighting by far the best on game play.
