I purchased this game this week; I had NBA 2K12 but sold it along with my old 360 some time ago. This game is worth the money just for the MyPlayer and MyCareer mode, this mode in particular has come on leaps and bounds from last year. It's frustrating at the start as it's difficult to get your player a good teammate/match rating with limited minutes from the bench and a limited array of skills. I remember this feeling well from last year's game and know that perseverence pays off! It doesn't take long for that average teammate grade to start climbing as your player becomes better, and you soon outscore many of the starters from the bench.

I have been a NBA 2k owner starting from 2K11, so I have a bit of history with this NBA title.I loved 2K11 but was not so keen on 2K12 because I felt it was a backward step and not as enjoyable as 2k11, I put the blame for this directly down to cheating and out of sink animation speeds.We have all been there with 2K12, players blocking shots without even facing the correct way, the computer preforming spin moves and fakes that are impossible to keep up with, I could go no forever.Thankfully I can say after six hours continuous play this has been sorted out! everything moves smooth as silk and all seems very realistic, gone are the days when six foot point guards are able to stop Dwight Howard getting to the rim.All the players preform as you would expect,

The NBA 2K series to a bold step this year when they decided to put rapper Jay-Z as the executive producer. So was this a fantastic choice after all?Pros:*My Player, blacktop and a large host of other enjoyable modes to play*Animations are realistic and flow well to make it look like a real game*The graphics are great and you can tell a lot of detail where put into the character models*The new dribble stick mechanic makes skills and tricks easier to pull off than they were in previous titlesCons:*After a while the music gets annoying and might not be to everyones tastes. Having played NBA 2K for the last few years this one is probably the best (2k11 a close 2nd), and miles better than 2k12 where slow players would catch up with you or poor shot blockers would block everything.I will admit this game does have its flaws (blocking dunks is near to impossible, AI defensive awareness is shocking and some centres keep up with PG's!!) however, its quite enjoyable to play, they try to make it a bit of an RPG in places which is a bit different and despite a lot of people slatting it for poor AI defence and difficulty i've found no real problems in the Game play and it is 1000X better than any other BB game i've played.**Another note is the game has taken a lot of stick

This game was probably the best game I've ever played! NBA 2K13 was my first basketball video game, and I was unsure as to whether I should have got it. Fortunately, it was amazing and I can't get my hands off my PSP nor do I ever change the game- it's the best game ever. The graphics are great and so are the themes. The teams are great, and I love playing this game in action with the likes of Kobe Bryant and LeBron James. There are so many game modes as well, which makes this game so addictive. Player mode, The Assocation, Jordan mode, and so may others are in which make it great. I think it beats all the other sports games- hockey, football, american football, etc.

I don't remember the last time I played EA Sports NBA Live because 2k Sports NEVER disappoints. Year after year the developers know how to get me to buy a copy. The new control sticks to shoot and control your player are HUGE upgrades and changes how I play each game. With just the right stick alone, I can perform a crossover and transition to finish for a pull up jumper or even a dunk! MyPlayer for the 2 previous has been renamed to MyCareer and it such a deep play. Although it does take awhile to get comfortable to the new controls, once you figure it out, you WILL be unstoppable!

I Love this Game! I Got the All-Star Content as promised which Has Great Game Modes, Improved Graphics and Gameplay with REAL Signature Moves added One's that Impressed Me were Kobe's Dribbiling and Metta's 3 Point Shot With Kevin Durant Looking Impressive Too. Overall Great Improvements to the Game such as MyPlayer and Many More Also a Great Selection of Songs From Jay Z Kanye West Nas & Coldplay, 10/10 from Me Simply Amazing

I couldn't wait for this since I was addicted to 2k12 and thankfully this didn't disappoint, awesome stuff.Only thing was the disc takes a while sometimes to work on the xbox, not sure if it was a rare fault but sometimes it's a nuisance trying for half an hour for the disc to spin.

Excellent basketball game, players movements and abilities are very life like which makes for better game play as I hate when games add power ups and suddenly the worst player in ur opponents team can triple summersault and dunk from half court. Sound track is awesome as well....

Great game. I played this for the full year right up until I bought 2k14 for the xbox one, where upon I passed my 13 on to my nephew.I found 2k14 (and indeed the xbox one itself) to be a huge letdown......so I punted them both and bought another copy of 2k13 to enjoy!

This game is unlike any other game I've played in my life, it's even better than FIFA 13.Graphics are more than average and "MyCareer" mode is amazing.I would recommend this to anyone, even if you don't like basketball at allIt is definitely worth to play!

The graphics of this game are awesome. It plays so smoothly and the option of 'mycareer' is great. A virtual opportunity to throw down with basketball legends and your favorite teams. If you are a basketball fan, this is definitely the game for you. :)

Quick dispatch and arrival, arriving in good packaging and good condition. The game offers a lot of fun, and I'd argue endless replayability. Keep in mind it is quite challenging, but offers a rewarding and interesting experience because of this.

This game takes the series to a whole new level! Very realistic ,excellent gameplay,wont get bored of it even after months of playing.My career also adds a different aspect for those who like building up their player or team from scratch.

if you like basketball this is the game for youthe only thing is my career guy doesnt work on nba blacktop it says you must crawl before you ball but my guy has already completed his 1st year but apart from that am adicted to it
