This game is fantastic, a bit hard to get used to after playing a lot of car racing games, but now it is fantastic fun. With 20 bikes in the field, the racing is fast an furious, and you're pretty much always battling with atleast three other bikes. Four player multiplayer just makes it even better. The graphics are stunning, you can see tyre treads on your wheels, skid marks left behind from previous laps, and even the drainage grill at the side of the track. The AI is not outstanding, but perfectly reasonable, the racing is by no means dull. The audio is pretty cool, you can hear other bikes approaching you and tell what side they are on. One slightly odd thing is the engine note of your bike.As you move up the gears, the engine note gradually gets higher pitched with each gear. So as with a normal engine, the pitch increases with the revs, then you change up and it should drop back down, but it actually continues to rise from where it left off!The custom rider feature is another welcome addition, and with two different Championship modes, time trials, single races and the excellent multiplayer mode, this game has it all.

An old game that looks surprisingly good on the Xbox 360, which is what I recently played it on.The interface is not that smooth to look at, but once you are on the track the graphics are much clearer and nicer. However if you are interested in this game in this day of age, graphics are probably not your priority. The reason I still play these older MotoGP games despite there being new ones is because the physics are significantly different, resulting in a unique racing experience. So these older games are still a tonne of fun to play. The game modes are traditional: time trial, quick race, championship, etc.The handling is somewhere between modern arcade and sim.You can customize your driver's appearance as well as your bike's visual appearance, but only to a limited extent. There's weather effects like rain and light fog.You have a cockpit view as well as the traditional chase views. What's unique is that you can do stunts and such, which grants you extra points in certain modes (wheelies, doughnuts, burnouts, endos...).Playing it on the Xbox 360 the only flaw I came across were occasional frame-rate drops.

at first galance, this game looks like a normal harmless superbike game. you have to a fan of superbikes to appreciate this game, right? well no actually. This game is probably one of the best actual racing games on any console. the game makes the best use of the xbox controller out of any other game(including halo) and the bikes handle superbly, the AI of the other cpu controlled racers is excellent, as they make it so that you really feel as though you are racing. The other riders will try and overtake if you give them the chance, but they also make mistakes, allowing you to sneak into first place.this game is even better online with a load of people on xbox live.It would be a crime not to get this game.

Although it has stif competition from other games (mainly project gotham) This game for me wins.Firstly this is not the same game as on the ps2 made by namco.this is more of a simulator. This is evident from the graphics there quite simply amazing the detail of the riders and the track is brilliant. It has the full motogp offical licsence so if youre a fan it's great cause you can play your favourite teaM.The life span is great with all th teams etc. There are also many extras, such as cell shading mode, track girls mode among many others. It plays amazingly with many training levels to help out and also and feels and sounds just lke the real thing.buy now.(sequels out soon)

Moto GP is one of the fastest, most realistic racers ever to come to xbox. The attention to detail is superb and hugely evident in both the circuits and the bikes themselves. Gameplay is both fast and smooth, and now also comes with the ability to be played online with xbox 'live'. Moto GP is incredibly addictive and will keep you coming back for more for months to come. A must have especially now it has fallen into the xbox 'classics' range. A superb racer at superb value.
