Well I'm not going to really listen to reviews that say a racing simulation is boring. There are two types of game in this world, there are the arcade type of games that give instant gratification (Dont get me wrong these can be fun after a stressful day) And the games that make you work that little bit harder, games that cost little, push you but once you get there you realize it was worth the time you put in.I think anyone looking to buy this game has a simple choice, do you want an arcade racing game ? or do you want to learn how racing works? If you are looking for a quick fire arcade racer that lets you win every race & makes you feel like a pro straight away, then this is not the game for you.I got this after I got bored of the arcade racing style games on the Xbox. I've always been a fan of bike racing & always thought Bike racing games would be utter crap & unrealistic. I decided to give this one a go because I was interested in going for something that was not instant & needed time, effort & determination to get good at.This is literally what you need to put into the game. It does take time to get the hang of it, but like all things that take effort & patience it does pay off and it does feel great to start hammering corners, you start in the smaller leagues and work your way up, on the harder settings you do struggle to get good results (as it should seeing as your in one of the lower teams). but this gives you the all important experience you need when it's time to race the bigger bikes for better teams.I don't want to go on forever about graphics & stuff, that's already been said but for the low cost & gaming you get from this game it really is a bargain.......hopefully I shall see you online, I'll be the one at back lol

What impressed me about the game:* the graphics and weather effects are excellent...especially in first-person view* the difficulty levels are well-balanced; on easier levels you don't crash every time you bump into someone* it has a highly complex Career mode with lots of micro-management (research, brand and staff management, etc)* there were no bugs and glitches in my playthroughs...it all ran smoothly* many character customization options regarding colors, helmets and such* the sound of the bikes is much better than in the previous gameWhat I did not like:* unpredictable AI behavior* your bike feels as if it is being pulled rather than being pushed* the AI always seem to have perfect grip, even on wet tracksThe AI can be unpredictable at times: manically adhering to the racing line, cutting corners etc.The AI units are simply not good at adapting to each other and yourself, nor to the rules of the game (don't cut corners !).I expect the AI to follow the racing line but they still need to adapt to changes ahead, which they often don't do here. There are far too many crashes caused by the AI ramming into you, simply because you were braking earlier than them. With the driving physics it feels as if your bike is being pulled forwards by a string rather than propelled forwards by an engine.I had the exact same issue with Monumental's previous MotoGP game. However, the physics is still reliable and consistent, which is more important.Overall I think this is a good game, especially if you can look past the unpredictable AI behavior.

Bought this game on its release and can genuinely say that its brilliant. As previously stated in a seperate review, this is not a game to hope to master in a few hours. In career mode, you start on 125cc and choose your bike, livery, sponsorship earning money as you progress through the season. You can employ PR specialists and engineers in order to research and eventually upgrade and tune your bike. Game play is fantastic. Graphics are as to be expected on a 360. Different player aids are available in order to help the player in the early stages of your career and hopefully these will be decreased as you become better. At present im still on 125cc and can see myself being there for a few seasons to come.im not even going to attempt moto 2 and moto gp until i have mastered a decent riding style on the 125. As with the real moto gp, before each race, you have the opportunity to have a free practice and then qualify for the race. youre graded for each circuit and hopefully earn some cash. On a widescreen TV with the volume up, its immense. 5 stars.

I'm sorry but the reviewer above is obviously quite young and inexperienced when it comes to 'real' motorcycle games. This game has many sim qualities and as a result takes a great deal of practice and dedication. If your expecting to pick up this game and instantly be fast then think again.Overall the game is fantastic with completely revived bike physics. It really does feel like your trying to tame an 800cc prototype machine as it bucks and weaves from every corner. The sense of speed and acceleration you get is phenomenal. In many peoples opinion this is one of the best bike games in a very long while but don't just take my word for it,check out the reviews over at IGN or Eurogamer for a more in depth perspective.Nice work Monumental.

if you class your self as a pro on this game then i would highly reccomend it, but if you lack playing games like these do not get, you have to be very clver on your braking and timing when conering, i would reccomend getting 09/10 to practise getting ready for this game, but apart from that the grahpics are amazing, the game plays good, but please take into mind you do have to be experianced, i love how you have tune the bike etc... get sponsors, hire enginers, and work the sponsors to your liking, very good game! would get it if your experianced!!

The MotoGp series has had its ups & downs,10/11 is definitely a high point. The sound, graphics & the simulated momentum are unequalled by any other bike road racer. It's only fails are collisions & low speed physics. This & SBKX are the two road bike racers to get(having bought MotoGP 09-13 & SBK08-11)

Bought this for my ten year old son for Christmas. He is a big Moto GP fan and absolutely loves this game. The price I paid for it was excellent as many big named shops (Game) wanted nearly 3 times the amount.
