I bought this mask after a bit of research on YouTube and reading the amazon reviews, after pre lightening my hair. I’m trying to lighten to a dark ash blonde following a year of ruby red hair. It’s been difficult to get rid of the red, and each time I’ve lightened and toned it’s left yellow at the top and orange through the lengths and underneath. This arrived, on time as described. I used the matrix brass off shampoo first applied directly onto dry hair, and left for ten minutes, then I rinsed and repeated the process. I towelled off my hair so about 60% dry and applied the mask to my hair. I left this for ten minutes before rinsing. The only reason I didn’t give this five stars was the bizarre reaction the product had with the packaging.

I was surprisingly impressed with this product. I have dark brown hair with highlights and a soft ombré and have found that the brown was warming up and the blonde looking brassy. This has actually really reduced the red tone and made the brown look richer and the blonde is popping (my boyfriend even remarked on that). I actually left on for around half an hour (based on previous experience of using toning conditioners) and I have to admit I used a really conditioning masque after (just in case the colour deposit was drying); my hair hasn’t looked this good since it was coloured at the hair dressers. Highly recommend.

Great for whitening brassy tones in just one use! After trying many different types of toners over the years for my full-blonde processed hair, this is by far the best and quickest. After just one use, you'll see a noticeable difference. I leave it in for about 5-10 minutes in the shower while shaving and rinse out. Highly recommend! I actually stoped requesting toner at my Aveda salon because I just go home and use this to find it better than the salon one!

I have dyed grey hair and this product really helps to prevent brassy tones,however one lot thing isyou do need to be careful not to get in all over the bath because it’s quite difficult to get off and will stain your hands

Made my yellowing hair more ashen which is what I wanted Need to wear gloves as it will stain your hands Prefer to use on damp hair works better for me Will keep using once every couple of weeks

Ok its a little expensive but well worth the money. I have tried purple shampoos and had no change in hair colour but this really removed the orange bits and left my hair feeling great!

Very impressed I literally went from yellow/orange to ash blonde definitely works to reduce those tones down would recommend it to anyone with highlights or grey hair that's yellowing.

Be careful as the colour gets everywhere, it did look like I killed a Smurf after using this on my hair. Really pleased with the results, much better than other similar products used.

I can say just wow , many years I was looking same as this product, i’m So happy I found it , nice colour hair after one time wash, also not too much dry hair after rising hair.

Good hair mask for blond hair. It does stain hands a little but if you wear gloves or wash your hands immediately you will be fine. Great product.

Brilliant product noticed a difference right away, only need a tiny drop and will probably only use once a week so will last for ages

Brilliant for brassy colours and tones, just add on about 50p size worth, leave for 10 mins and rinse. Love the blonde i now have!
