Got Madden for the PS3 on import.Good stuff: Defensive options are better. You can highlight opponent receivers to mark them out of the game. Playing 49ers V Cards I had Nate Clements shut down Fitzgerald with linebacker help. Leading receivers with your passes is a lot easier with use of the left stick. You can also see mismatches on the field helping you identify weaknesses you can exploit.Bad stuff: You can't design your own plays or make your own playbooks on offense! You can't see what a playbook is going to be in advance so I went into Play Game mode without knowing what I could run which meant the play clock is a killer. It means you have to use practice mode a lot more so you know what you can do with a specific book.

I saw this item only had two reviews and thought how is that possible its probably my favorite game to hit the ps3 so far, It's one of those games I keep going back to if you have the slightest interest in nfl and I didnt before buying this game then you will love this. I bought like 10 games since I had this and I ended up selling them all on because I found myself still playing this even though I had these new games. Definatley recommened for nfl fans and like I said you dont have to be one before buying this but you definatley will be one after. Between this pro evo and skate dont think I need any more games until Gta and Res 5 is out. Try this out though you will love it.

Greetings everyone!I recently returned from the states and whilst there i purchased Madden NFL 08.Being a huge fan of the Gridiron i could'nt wait to rip open the packaging and play it and play it did!!This game really does hit the heights!The graphics are awesome.The players movements look so real and fluid.There are many more tactics in each of the 32 NFL teams playbooks and i can tell you now that getting to the Superbowl let alone winning it is much much harder!There are even "player weapons" which identify not only the strengths and abilities of your players but also what your opponent is going to throw at you in terms of his threats.All in all this game is a class act!

Absolutely fantastic game, the graphics are amazingly realistic, and great gameplay. the help it gives you is very useful, and all the game modes are way better than i expected. if anyone has any doubts about American Football then get this game, it will not only teach you how to play, but it will also convince you how great this sport is(i think it's fantastic, and i am English!!!)and how you cannot live without such an amazing extra in your life.

This game, currently is my favourite game on PS3. The Graphics are fantastic, and the new cameras for superstar are great. It is a lot easier on superstar than last time. The only bad point is that on Franchise mode you don't recieve e-mail and can't read the newspaper. Overall it is well worth the money!

Good fun ,you need to practice though otherwise you keep getting hammered by the computer. Many elements of this game with good sound and graphics.
