I chose the optimist eyeshadow palette as the colours looked the most natural and subtle (I have a broken brown eyeshadow from another brand which I love, but they no longer sell, so I am actively looking to replace this!!). Unfortunately my eyeshadow arrived slightly broken (the nude colour) as it must have got damaged in the post...The eyeshadows go on nice and smoothly, even with the first sweep. It feels good quality due to this as you can then build more colour on top easily for a bolder look. They blend in well with one another for a more natural look compared to 1 colour. It doesn't have any fall down your face like some eyeshadows do. The colour lasts all day (or night!)

I’m really impressed with the more neutral colours in this palette, the 4 colours worn together really complement each other. The middle turquoise colour is not a colour I would usually wear as it’s rather bold, it is a nice colour but it’s just my personal preference that I tend to wear more neutral colours. Saying that I might give it a go on my holidays. I like that the colours 1-4 have a nice shimmer to them, so they are perfect for night out. With colour 5 it’s more matt and works great as a powdered eyeliner rather then using a harsh eyeliner pencil. Overall a great set of colours even though I might not use the middle one as much, but worth buying for all the other more useable colours.

I chose this palette because of the beautiful turquoise colour and the lovely warm tones of the nude shades, which I hoped would compliment my colouring (brown eyes, fair but warm skin tone). All but ones of the shadows are very shimmery, the darkest shade (at the bottom of the palette) is matte. I find that they go on fairly smoothly and although they're shimmery they do stay on and blend well. The nude shades are really lovely and have a flattering warm tone to them. The turqouise is a lovely colour but does need more layering to get a stronger colour as it's actually quite subtle when you initially apply it. I haven't tried applying it damp yet so perhaps that will help to get a more vibrant look.

I thought I'd choose blue and brown for a change just to step out of my comfort zone. I have very dark brown eyes and yellow undertones so wasn't sure how navy blue would look. Turns out, it's beautiful. The formulation is highly pigmented so you don't need a lot to make an impact. At the same time a bit of blending creates a more subtle effect. The navy blue/cobalt is a class colour so no 80s throwbacks here. Combined with the two matte browns and two shimmering browns the effect can be subtle and casual or contoured and dramatic. The shimmer is also sophisticated and you don't look like you've been playing in a glitter glue pot! Very very pretty shades and a great, highly blendable formulation.

This is a lovely little palette. It comes in a lovely, rather expensive looking slim case that would easily fit into many a makeup bag. The 4 neutral colours are really well pigmented, so only a little is needed, and they go on really smoothly. The middle turquoise shade isn't that strong on application, however it leaves a really beautiful seductive tone that really complements the brown shades. It really helps enhance your eye color (mine's are blue). It's not too shimmery so it can be used for day or night wear. It's also a very versatile palette, and since you get some beautiful shades that can be worn either on their own or together, I'm thinking this would be a perfect make up product to take on holiday.

Don't usually go for Drugstore eyeshadows but these were really good! Highly pigmented and so creamy; I'll be buying more of these in the other colours! Really handy size for travelling and the guide on the back is great for beginners or if you're stuck for ideas! I'm also really glad there wasn't an eyeshadow brush included; the ones that come with palettes are useless so it's good they didn't include one!Finally, the shades are really nice and I particularly like how there is one matte brown shade too, as I like shimmers better, but this is a good colour and may be good for filling in the brows for some! I fell in love with this for the statement shade, and boy did it deliver. I copied the two looks on the back of the palette, but it's so versatile I use the rest of the shades in my daily look. The shimmer is so beautiful and not overwhelming and is surprisingly easy to remove come nighttime, without leaving glimmery scatters on your face to clog pores. With a wet brush, the statement shade totally pops and it's incredibly strong and definitely takes a day look to a night look. I normally stay away from bolder shades but this is gorgeous and manages to be wearable on the day to day. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

These mini eyeshadow palettes are the ideal size for fitting in your handbag which makes them perfect for touching up your eye look through out the day/night.There are so many different looks that can be created using each of the stunning colours.The 'Stylist' edition I have there are a mixture of shimmery Metallica to matte deep brown colours in this compact palette.Extra bonus is that the matte brown shades are also the perfect shades to be used to fill in your brows.From such a nifty little palette I'm extremely impressed and have had lots of compliments when Ive used it. This palette is the perfect size for popping in any make up bag, and can take you from neutral daytime to sultry night looks. It makes a brilliant make up travel companion. The shadows have a beautiful blendable high pigmented formula that are so easy to apply and long lasting. All the shades complement each other and can be used to create so many great looks. I was particularly taken with the beautiful blue which I loved using along the lashline to create a smoky sapphire eyeliner. I look forward to trying some of the other palettes in the collection. Really lovely colours in this palette. A mixture of natural browns with one bright shade- electric blue! All of the eye shadows are really pigmented and have a subtle glitter shine in them. Very easy to blend and build up. Nice to have an everyday palette that fits easily in your make up bag! Since I’m not that confident on applying eye shadows and where to put the different colours the two diagrams on the back of the palette are really handy. This is a great little pallette which comes in a good variety of colours which all complement each other very well. Each eyeshadow has great colour pay off which blended nicely, allowing each shade to be built up to the desired intensity. The size of the packaging is perfect to carry in your bag for any touch ups although I found that the shadow stayed put all day without any creasing. Wow- what an absolutely super product! Absolutely loved using this- very distinct, high quality pigmented colours, applies easily and lasted very long. Again, it appears to be more expensive than it actually was, and is akin to using a designer product. This is one of my faves that L'oreal has sent- they never disappoint. I love the colours of this eyeshadow palette. It looks exactly like it did online, if not better. They can be worn alone or blended together and stay put throughout the day/night. It is very light and compact so doesn’t take much room up in the makeup bag and can easily be carried around when on a night out or traveling. Nice little palette easy to take out in handbag or for travel. The colours work well together - 4 shimmers and one matte with one bold colour - turquoise which can be used to transform the look. My one gripe is I find too many shimmer eyeshadows a bit tacky now I’m older and would prefer more matte shades but these palettes are cute and cheap enough to change about eye looks. I’ve chose La petite mini eyeshadow palette Optimistic. It’s a great palette which includes 5 eyeshadow shades to blend together. It is 4 must have everyday shades and plus one statement shadow when I want an extra vibrant colour . I like small size of it which is perfect for my make up bag .
