I originally bought this lipstick elsewhere in the "Ovid" shade. Loved it immediately and was very impressed with how long it lasted and how eye-popping the pigment was. Yesterday, I decided to buy the "Apollo" shade, as I've been wanting a darker lipstick for Fall. I have been through many lipstick brands in my lifetime, but this new brand beats out the competition- hands down!! The only downside to this amazing lipstick (and the others by this brand) is that it's a little pricey for a lipstick. But, they always say you get what you pay for, and when you buy this brand, I promise you won't be disappointed. This is a must!!!

This is my first Lipstick Queen purchase, and I expect I will try more LQ products. It goes on like butter and lasts quite long. I can't say for sure how long it lasts, since I apply a lip gloss on top of it. It is intensely pigmented, and when I find the right color I won't need to apply a gloss on top of it. The ONLY reason for my 4-star rating is because the actual color of the product is very different than what I see on my computer monitor. It looks more purplish with blue undertones on my screen, but is actually more of a red color.
