When I first bought the foundation 4 years ago and tried to apply it on my face, the result was horrible! I was disappointed with the fact I threw my money on wind. However, after a month or so I bought a beauty sponge by Real Techniques and it has changed my opinion about the lavera mousse foundation forever. I applied the mousse like dots on my face, let it melt and then distributed the make up foundation by using wet Real Techniques sponge. It gave my skin a very natural and light coverage. Despite my nick name on amazon, I am a young woman with super sensitive skin, which is prone to pimples and dryness. This foundation didn't dry out my skin at all, it goes perfectly on lavera's rich daily cream and doesn't clog my pores.

I just cannot understand the negative post about this product. I have sensitive skin and hate the idea of chemicals in my foundation and other skin care products, so I gave this a try.I will be honest, if you are looking for heavy coverage, this may not be the product for you, although you can layer the coverage for a medium effect. However, since using this product I have noticed my skin is softer, has less spots and amazingly, spider veins underneath my left eye have disappeared since using it! I had these all my life and they've vanished. Not only this, I have a large scar on my chin; this is visibly reduced too!The mousse glides on to your skin, feels silky soft,

Nice and creamy, goes on easily, doesnt cake or go patchy, its light to medium coverage, so you might need a little concealer if you have spots, but it evens out skin tone nicely and covers minor imperfections.I wasnt sure about the colour, but it is the right one for me, I have a medium complexion, with rosey undertones, this has pinker undertones, which suits me.IF you like a yellow undertone this is not for you.My only criticism is the size of the pot, which is I think, a little bit small.I will see how long it lasts........

The lightest, most beautiful foundation ever for older skin...goes on so smoothly and stays on, it is a pleasure to use. I have bought the Honey shade as well as Ivory as I sometimes need a slightly darker one if I'm looking very pale. Can't recommend this lovely product enough and of course it's cruelty-free which is the most important thing.

I don't often write reviews but I had to for this product. If you were like me and used Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation - this product is for you! I've been looking for a vegan alternative for years and am overjoyed to have found one that replicates the dream matte in every way! (And it doesn't hurt any animals!) You won't regret it!

Lovely texture and goes on smoothly. I have oily skin and this stays on all day without feeling greasy and gives a natural coverage. Colour suits my fair skin perfectly and i like the little glass jar that it comes in, as it can be recycled and or perfect to use as tea-light holders. All in all my favourite matte finish make-up.

I hadn't used this before and didn't know if I was choosing the right colour. When it came and I tried it, I can honestly say it's the best make up I've had. The coverage is excellent, nice colour, not at all heavy. It's very silky and looks natural. I would highly recommend.

Really pleased I took a chance on this product. It goes on a treat, like a moisturiser and makeup all in one. Silky and smooth, blends beautifully, natural finish. Will keep buying this product as I'm sick of all the nasty chemicals they put in products nowadays.
