What is old is new again. All the glass feeding bottles were replaced with plastic, but Lansinoh are going back old school with their new 'NatureWave Glass Feeding Bottles'. Essentially it is the usual bottle that you would expect, but made from glass. This means that if you drop it may smash, although it seems pretty sturdy. However, it also means that there is no issue with toxins leaking. I can't imagine that the modern plastic bottles do this, but a little extra peace of mind is always a bonus when you have a baby. What makes the Lansinoh great is not really whether the bottle is glass or not, but the teats.It is important that you find a bottle that both you and your baby are comfortable with; in this case the teat mimics nature well and makes swapping from one to the other easier.

Absolutely in love with this bottle! So relieved!This is the only bottle my exclusively breastfed 5 month old son won't gag at and refuse to drink from. I needed him to be able to take a bottle so others can feed him in the event that I couldn't be there.Pros:* It's the softest and most closest to a nipple from the rest I've tried. He latches on perfectly!* The bottle has a sleek finish and it is so easy to hold and sterilise.* It came with a health and safety seal.Cons:* I wish it came with more teats!* The vent on the bottle to reduce air intake is a little loud, but that's a minor issue.* Flow is slightly fast for my son, hence he's spilling from the corners of his mouth.* Postage took a little longer than I would have liked,

We asked a friend who has just had a little one to help with the testing of this bottle from Lansinoh and all her comments were favourable. The first reaction was surprise that this was actually a bottle made from glass rather than plastic – something that is really in the news these days with the well-deserved bad press most plastic is now getting. The glass used in the construction of this bottle is borosilicate which is resistant to thermal shock and is used in products by Pyrex and in laboratory equipment – it is eco-friendly and recyclable. The naturalwave teat seems to work as expected - the one supplied is the medium flow version - with the bottle itself holding a useful 240 ml.

I've not seen a range from Lansinoh before beyond therapeutic maternity creams.What a superb discovery! The bottle is very well made. Thick and solid so I have no qualms this might break easy. It's also designed to resist sudden temperature change etc which is great if you have over warmed the milk and need to cool it a bit.The teat and cap work well and our lo took easily to it.I cant understate the significance of glass. Despite baby product plastic being 'safe' you never can know can you. Glass doesn't taint either in taste or look easily and its environmentally friendly as it is easily and widely recycled. I've noticed all the big names are now going glass too.

This feeding bottle was a bit of surprise when it arrived as it was made out of glass. I have not seen a glass childs bottle for a long time. The use of plastic has been in the news a lot recently, as such people may be more inclined to purchase this glass bottle.As a bottle it works very well, the natural wave teat seems to agree with our child, the bottle feels strong and well made, the measuring scale to get the mix correct or to keep an eye on how much is actually being drunk.I would certainly recommend this product for anyone, it will be prone to less discolouration than plastic versions.

My son is on neocate formula for cow's milk protein intolerance and it's a really really difficult to clean it from plastic bottles, no matter how much you scrub. We tried this glass bottle and it was amazing, so easy to clean. No more residue on the bottle! If I knew how much easier the glass bottles were to clean I'd have bought all glass bottles. They are far more hard wearing. These bottles (plastic ones too) were used alongside breastfeeding and if anything they helped my son with his latch. I'd buy these again if we had another child but I would 100% go for the glass version.

These are the best bottles I own. My son is almost 5 months old and these bottles are his favourite. The teat are excellent (bottles are sent with one medium flow teat) and seem very comfortable for him. These bottles are so easy to clean, I use hot water and fragrence and dye free washing up liquid. I don't sterilise them and never have as they are glass and do not harbour as much bacteria as a plastic bottle. That being said they are safe to sterilise. I have also dropped these bottles a few times on tiles and hardwood floors and then have never broken. They are very sturdy.

GOOD======Really good glass feeding bottles. It arrives in one piece and is easy to assemble and use straight away.I sterilised it and it feels much better in the hand than the plastic ones.PROS=====nice design which does reduce colic.BPA-free teat.Teats stretch which seems to be easier for babies.you can re use glassCONS=====A little heavier than plastic ones.It probably a little less robust than a plastic bottle.OVERALL========A really nice bottle.

I am just so happy to be able to use these rather than a plastic equivalent! It's amazing; these are made from a special kind of glass that's like the kind used to make Pyrex etc. So they are durable rather than fragile, although you do still have to be a little more careful that you might with plastic. This is a larger sized bottle with a medium flow teat, making it ideal for an older baby or a baby with a big appetite!

I’ve accidentally dropped it on the sink a couple of times and didn’t leave a mark on it , absolutely love this bottle and is better than the plastic ones that absorb Oders and get discoloured also this is better for the environment,Looks nice and doesn’t leak(Now all that I want is my 1 year old to stop throwing a hissy fit because his milk is in a different bottle) ...

Fantastic product. Great to be able to dispel concerns about safety of plastics, and also a more environmentally-friendly option. The usual excellent quality and technology that you expect from Lansinoh. The teat is well-designed and particularly suitable for dual-feeders. I hope the other bottle brands take note, as this type of bottle should be first choice for all.

I have to say I'd never heard of naturalwave before receiving this product to test. In terms of quality, I would argue this is better than the market leaders who are really well known. Very well made, easy to clean, and feels like a real quality product. Have gone on to purchase more products from their range. Therefore would strongly recommend

Love this bottle. Used to buy the plastic once but got tired of seeing them looking cloudy when used too much as it looked like the bottle was old and dirty.So i decided to buy this glass one and im very happy about it! It always looks clean and fresh and can be used over and over again, just need to change the teats when time comes.

I ve ordered the third bottle already.We like using every day.really soft, not leak, after breasfeeding my baby loved using it.Once accidentally i ve dropped the first one, it has broken so i had to order another one but the glass is much better than a plastic in my opinion.All in all it's a really baby friendly feeding bottle.

I'm a huge fan of everything Lansinoh, so I was bound to love this bottle. It's perfect. The look, the feel, the size, the way it stays warm for longer than plastic, the way it's so easy to clean, the fantastic innovative teet, it's so worth the money and glass is sso much safer. Would definitely recommend.
