Bought this shampoo for my partner (who’s a ginge), because he’s got very sensitive scalp but also dry hair (which is what this shampoo is intended for). We were both a bit sceptical at first but after reading a few reviews decided to give it a go, and glad we did! Hell, I don’t spend that much money on my own shampoos but it was so worth it! He really struggles with dry hair and lots and lots of flakiness! And as you know, the flakes just get everywhere! What usually happens is, he tries a new shampoo, flakes disappear for a while and after a couple of washes, they’re back :/ so of course, we were a bit sceptical but from the first wash, he noticed how gentle the shampoo is and it doesn’t have any strong perfumes in it which is quite nice.

I have a very sensitive and easily irritated scalp which can end up itching and flaking with a lot of products. Have used medicated shampoo but found the smell or how it left my hair not the most desirable. My hairdresser recommended this - told me to use for at least a month - best thing I have ever done for my scalp and hair. Have used for 3 years and would not change it! No flaking and no itching and does not irritate my face (which happens with other shampoos). . Sometimes I have used a different shampoo and instantly my scalp will react! It has a light clean fragrance but leaves no strong smell in your hair. You only need to use a small amount and it will lather if you add more water when washing your hair.

I suffer from Rosacea, a skin condition which means I am allergic to the sun and have very sensitive skin and scalp. This shampoo (Kerastase Dermo-Calm Bain Riche) was recommended to me by the Rosacea Society and it is excellent for calming down itching and dryness. I would recommend this to anyone who has a sensitive and/or dry scalp. It is quite expensive but you only need a small amount so it is worth the money. Also it smells gorgeous and leaves your hair shiny. My only disappointment is that I am unable to get the matching conditioner to go with it but other Kerastase conditioners are pretty good.

Have always had a sensitive, dry, flaky scalp (not dandruff) and have tried everything! I love this product as for the first time in years I do not have to keep brushing my shoulders from flakes from my scalp. From the first shampoo it stops the irritation and then probably another couple of weeks for the flakes/dry skin to disappear. It is also non irritant on my face which is super sensitive. Does not fade my hair colour and the smell is lovely and fresh. Would highly recommend.

I had been washing my hair with Dove shampoo for a few washes now and noticed my scalp was becoming flakey.It was distressing for me because I've never been the one for dandruff or itchy scalp.I buy this product and it turned up yesterday (02/04).I take my shower with this product and NO FLAKES!I'm seeing my partners parents after a hefty lockdown and it didn't take me 2-4 washes to remedy the incident, it took only 1!Would definitely recommend ❤️

If you have itchy and/or sensitive scalp - this is the product for you, regardless of which hair type you have. You will notice a big difference from the first use; and it is applied just like any shampoo. Start with using this shampoo every time you wash your hair until the sensitivity is gone. Than use the shampoo every third time you wash your hair, to maintain the results.Matching hair masque is also available to maximise the benefits.

This range of shampoos are excellent, they are a bit more expensive than the normal run of the mill ones, but there is a reason for that. These shampoos are really kind to your hair, they give your hair life, make it healthy looking and give it volume no matter what type of hair you have, there is one on this range for you. It lasts a long time as you don't need to use any more than a ten pence piece amount at a time.So happy shampooing.

I have been using kerastase products ever since I was 12 years old. I stopped at some point to try other products too but I never found something better for my thin but rich, curly hair. When I use it my hair looks healthy, shiny and has volume and nothing else can do this for me. Always pleased with this company.

This was expensive but good it soon cleared my dry scalp which was making my hair dry at the roots and wirey it didn’t last to long but I was using every other day I would purchase again and like this brand but the bottle was quite small for the price

My mum had itching scalp. Its from dying hair etc and stress. Doctors had found out but no shampoo worked well. She had some losing hair too. This is an amazing product soothing and need small amount. It helped her in everyway. Tx

This product was recommended by my barber due to having a dry scalp. I must say, it worked really well, completely reduced my dry scalp issues. I will continue using this shampoo.

Good shampoo,especially if you’ve got a sensitive scalp,reasonably priced too,will buy again,but you need so little when washing hair, it’ll be ages before I need to buy again!

I had flaking hair problems and after using this shampoo few times it reduced a lot until it disappeared. I only use it for my scalp, I use another one for the rest of my hair

After using 3 times it's relieving my dry hairline by using a 10p size of shampoo. Lathers well, smells lovely and I've found I don't need to use a conditioner after!!

It's the first shampoo that has stopped my itchy sensitive scalp got a bathroom full of different expensive shampoo's this is the only one that's worked brilliant!!!
