Brought as a Christmas present for my mum who is relatively new to taking photos. It’s a great size and once you know what you’re doing is straight forward to use the pre-set settings. However the instructions were pretty much non existent so it was a struggle to know what all the settings were to begin with and as my mum had never used a camera like it before she struggled. Otherwise no problems so far, picture quality is good and there are plenty of options for those who are more advanced

Great camera, I am currently using it on auto until I get the hang of how to adjust settings manually. Brilliant picture quality, only issuse I have are in low/bight light the camera over compensates and ends up white washing or very pixelated in darker images but for this type of camera this is to be expected and even high quality cameras struggle in the dark. I found by turning it on and off the issue with being too whitewashed is often fixed. I am really impressed with the picture quality!

A good, solid camera especially for an adult/child beginner. The settings take a little getting used to at first and can be a little time consuming remembering where everything is especially if you want to take moving images. The anti shake setting is fantastic and zoom quality superb. Picture detail is extraordinary and we managed to take some fantastic moon pics complete with crater detail during the recent Snow Moon. You don't need an expensive memory card either. Worth the money.

I tried this on holiday taking photos of the Needles, Isle of Wight from Milford On Sea. With no tripod and dusk fast approaching I was able to get a clear picture of the lighthouse, but when I photographed the coast nearer the Lymington side of the IOW, I thought I was taking a picture of a white fronted building on the shoreline, it turned out to be a yacht and is amazingly clear considering my elbows were rested on my knees in an attempt to keep it still on a gusty beach. Love it!

This bridge camera has a lot of excellent features, is of good quality and performs well. The long zoom sometimes fails to focus in low light, but this is common with most cameras of this type. I have been very pleased with the photos produced, and cannot really find anything to criticise. There have been some critical comments elsewhere, but really these are not justified. This is not a point and shoot camera, and you need to spend some time reading the manual, to get best results.

Good camera, with plenty of menu options. Only a small get you going instruction manual, but a 80 page pdf instruction manual on line. Being a amateur, found the camera fairly easy to use, and am still learning methods from the Manual. Takes great pictures, with true colours, zoom is amazing. Battery is chargeable and lasts a long time, though, for emergencies I carry a charged up battery bank with me when out, though so far, hasn't been needed. All in all, a very nice camera.

purchased this camera on holiday in York. I wanted something different than my mobile phone. I found it easy to use and played about with the setting to see what I could achieve. I down loaded the manual as this gives a far better introduction to the camera. never really been one for a camera like this ...I was very pleased..the lens cap isn't a very tight fit but I resolved this once I was home with 3 small tabs of black tape ,not a problem anymore...

Pro: Decent enough megapixel count, takes good enough pics for what it is, plenty of scene settings and options for beginners and happy snappers to build skills and use easily. Light enough in weight.Con: Ok its never gonna be as sharp as dslr pictures due to the small sensors that bridge cameras are given compared to DSLR ones. Cant expect professional shots with a bridge camera, but decent enough, just not in low light shots, even with flash.

Bought for grandson to learn photography. I have s good DSLR and wanted a bridge camera for him to learn to firstly take pictures and then learn to photograph. This is fine for the first part, not yet stretched the camera for the second. Easy to use and easy to frame from the rear screen and generates pretty good images. Fantastic zoom. Should fulfill its purpose given the additional controls over a point and shoot. Overall pleased with it.

I purchased this as a first time camera as I’ve always been into photography. I have to admit I was sceptical at first but after playing around taking zoomed shots, normal shots and even close ups I am amazed at how great it is. It doesn’t have a view finder but I think it’s easier seeing it on screen so you can see how it will turn out. You can also add filters on the photos using the camera. Also get a tripod with it. It helps. Trust me.

My great niece is taking photography as an option at school next year. As a surprise I bought her her first 'proper' camera. The build quality is great as are the various functions. (I especially loved the 'face beautifier!) It is proving to be a great purchase. It is easy to use and is a great size and is not too heavy. I would recommend the Kodak PixPro for anyone wanting to buy their first Bridge camera. The price is perfect too!

I got this camera as my first hoping it would be able help guide me into good picture taking, and wow I wasn't wrong. Even some of the pictures I took on site that I thought weren't to good looked great when I got them on the laptop. This camera is amazing, easy to use, light weight and the battery doesn't run out after 4 pics, mine lasted a day and a half of picture taking. I'm glad I didn't get anything else.

An okay camera. The lead to transfer photos from the camera to a laptop don’t work, it just charges the camera, it doesn’t sync with the camera for the camera to show on your laptop, I was just lucky my laptop has a memory card slot so I can take that out of the camera and slot it in my laptop & transfer them from the memory card. Memory card you have to buy with the camera as one doesn’t come with it.

Great camera for those who want to take it further past phone cameras. Strange to get used to especially if you're used to camera phones. Good stepping stone for first time photographer's. Can't wait to take more & more photos. I have managed to take a very detailed picture of the moon for the first time ever, usually just get a bright disc in the sky & very blurry. Not this camera.

This was bought for my daughter at Christmas, she loves taking photos and I wanted her to have something practical not too expensive so she can learn the basic photography skills. She loves it, however takes time to figure out the options as the manual you have to download from online but the more she uses it the more she’s becoming familiar with it.
