The resolution at 14mp is good, slides just push through manually so very easy and quick to use. Brightness and colour can be adjusted but to be fair that’s much easier to do with photo software. It needs a memory card to work at all, no real problem. I could not get a PC or Mac to find the device with the USB cable but easy enough to transfer photos by using the card. My only gripe is that I cannot set the date, time or slide capture name, minor problem really.

This is a great 35mm transparency scanner. It was immediately straightforward to use, although the instructions could have been made clearer, in my view. I have loads of my father's slides to scan and pass to family members. I did not have to make any adjustments to achieve excellent clarity. Everyone who has received the scans via email has been bowled over by the clarity and accuracy. Make sure you have an SD card, which is not supplied with the scanner.

I wanted to transfer about 1000 slides to my iMac and found this slide copier absolutely great. It was simple to use, effective and reliable. I had considered using an automatic magazine fed copier but rejected this after a friend told me that older, cardboard mounted slides frequently jam. I have found using the Kodak Scanza absolutely great, easy and intuitive. Highly recommended for a trip down memory lane.

Overall a good piece of kit. Set up straight forward. Images are acquired and stored rapidly and are easy to transfer. Some slides jam in the holder guide so the guide has to be removed to free them - frustrating - but fault of the card surround slides rather than device.Useful and easy to move on when you have done all your slides and negatives.

Have scanned hundreds of slides with very good results. Some of the older slides have a blue or red tint, but I believe this is the colour changing on the slides.Very useful piece of kit. Do not buy a cheaper scanner. I tried one and was very disappointed.

Very simple to operate. I am digitising a whole lot of 35mm negatives from two decades ago! Very pleased with the results. Makes photos so much more accessible than the multitude of albums I have 'archived' in my store room.

Easy to set up and use. Only minor gripe is that the cardboard slides pass through the scanner very easily but the plastic ones do not and you have to lift the end of the slide holder to get the slide to pass through.

I gave it 5 stars because it works. I am not expecting brilliant results because the negatives are extremely old. but it is really easy to use.
