Really happy with this device - it's worth going for the more expensive model with the infrared scanning as it works wonders with cleaning things up. I had heard lots of complaints about the bundled software Silverlight but it is actually really good. I can only imagine the people who had problems were not very experienced with similar software. If you have used Photoshop or anything similar and have at least a basic understanding of scanning you should have no problem at all. You can adjust all manor of things in Silverlight to get the most our of your scans. There are a couple of small issues I had setting up on Windows 10.

just installed plustek,it software looks powerfuljust need to load my 35mm camera take some shotsdevelop the film myself,And hopefully Plustec will do the rest.Mly

Fantastic scanner, better than flatbed, really sharp and the software is actually very easy to learn / use
