This is a good mid-range camera but I would stop right there. It functions well but do not expect amazing picture quality. The pictures come out in good quality when printed on small paper though I wouldn’t advise printing on a big canvas as it won’t turn out well.The stability of the camera is good and fast though again, not as good as top-range cameras. It is not designed for taking video so that should be fine for most people.In my opinion, the best part of the camera is the very clear zoom. It works really well and makes the image a lot closer without compromising the quality of the picture. It looks and feels great to use. It makes use of non-rechargeable batteries which isn’t ideal but it’s manageable.

Brilliant camera, easy to use, excellent picture quality, decent zoom and pictures don't become instantly shite if the light falls slightly.Bad reviews all refer to batteries, this uses can use alkaline AAs so you can get them anywhere if you are in a fix and multi packs are often on special, there is not a specific lithium battery you need to buy extra of. Yes it does take four and this is where the complaints come from..... So customers reach for cheep batteries or nicad rechargeables, the problem is that most people don't realise that nicads aren't 1.6volts like alkalines more like 1.3volts plenty of energy the voltage is lower, so after a couple of shots the camera thinks they are flat...

this is a gift for my daughter who has taken to photography. we wanted a professional camera but one that didn't have a huge price tag and wouldn't be difficult to operate. this ticked all the boxes as her first camera. it looks professional. is lightweight and feels really good in your hands. its not difficult to operate and comes fully boxed with easy to understand instructions. I can't wait to see our daughters face and better yet her beautiful pictures!

Everything is brilliant about the camera. But I notice that I was not given a USB charger and am unable to charge my camera. I didn't think anything of this problem as I have many universal USB chargers for other appliances. But when I try to use them on this camera, it says connection failed. This is very frustrating as there is no explanation as to why I may be doing this wrong. Help!

Always wanted a ‘ proper ‘ camera. Easy to set up, limited instructions but easy enough to get around once you know the basic controls. Can’t wait to take it on holiday to snap some amazing pictures. Doesn’t come with a memory card, which would of been an advantage, but other than that love my purchase

Brought this for my hubbie, this is a beautiful camera nice to hold and easy to operate, lot of camera for little money, and takes beautiful pictures with built in face enhancer would highly recommend the camera

Small, cute camera that's very easy to grip with one hand. I haven't tested it extensively yet, but I took some nice pictures of flowers and used the Canon app to send them to my iPad, which was pretty neat.

I bought this to put away for my grandsons christmas present . I tried it out to see if it was suitable and i was surprised at how easy it was to use and it takes great pictures too. Would highly recommend

Good for the price- beginners camera good quality pictures easy to use. Previous poor review made by someone who has no idea about cameras. If you want a great sale or bridge the pay around £400

Bought for my sons 11th birthday, he absolutely loves it , great picture quality . Fantastic camera for a beginner, zoom is great

Photo quality isn't great but this is a first camera for my 9 year old as she asked for one for Xmas. It'll do for now.

Only used the camera once and the photos are good. Going to try it out in the local museum next week.

Make sure you attach the lens cap straightcaway as the cord is thin and easily lost
