wow wow wow what can i say this master class crusty bake non stick loose base tin is fab. First time I used it yesterday and I can honestly say the pastry does what it says no soggy bottoms. Made a quiche with the tin and it came out great. Cant imagine why I have not bought one before. I think its because sometimes you can buy a cheaper tin but this tin is worth the money. Next time I will be buying a tin for making pies... with the same idea with the holes in the bottom of the tin so no more soggy bottoms. Will probaby put it on my christmas lists of things to buy. Give it a try it has a 20 years guarantee .

Just received the tin today and used it to make a quiche.I was a bit worried about the pastry turning out ok as I didn’t bake it blind first. I shouldn’t have worried, the pastry was better than ever.No leaks from the filling and after letting it cool for a while removing it from the tin was easy.I wasn’t certain if the tin would be to large, but I actually think that this is the ideal size for a quiche, I used a fraction more ingredients than normal but now I have enough food for 2 days compared to 1 with my previous tin. (my wife thinks I am tight. I say “ I am just careful “) ?

Bought because I hate having to blind bake pastry cases for quiches. It is so messy and time consuming. Tried it out for first time yesterday for a cheese and onion quiche. I left it in slightly longer than usual as wasn't sure if it would work. Pastry was well cooked all round and no 'soggy bottom'. So pleased with the results.The metal is of a good thickness and it is easy to grease and clean. Pastry didn't stick and no leaking of contents. Perfect.

NO MORE SOGGY BOTTOMS WITH BAKING TIN. MY PASTRY USE TO BE SOGGY OR UNDERCOOKED. WITH THIS TIN IT IS PERFECT. MY PIES AND QUICHES LOOK GREAT NOW. I WOULD ADVICE YOU PUT YOUR TIN ON A BAKING TRAY WHILE COOKING IN THE OVEN. APART FROM THAT THIS IS 10 OUT OF 10. I PAIID £10.00 FOR THIS TIN MORE THAN I WOULD NORMALLY PAY. BUT I THINK IT IS WORTH IT. GREAT GREAT GREAT. WISH THEY DID THEM IN A SMALLER SIZE.

As soon as I received it I used it to make a quiche and it worked perfectly. Very easy to use, a bit less to clean due to the holes, but I’ve simply put it in the dishwasher and problem solved! The shortcrust pastry turned out perfectly cooked even if it was the first time using it (and I didn’t do the blind baking) and it was easy to remove. I strongly recommend this product!

WHY HAVE I NEVER USED A POP UP TIN BEFORE?!No longer will I be scraping the quiche's or bakewells out of the tin!So easy and gives it a nice crust from the wholes in the tin. You just have to be careful that when you get it out f the oven, you don't push the bottom up and push the cake out (if it's not ready, it's fine if the cake / pastry is set)

Be sure there isn't the slightest crack in your pastry.The contents of your quiche will end up all over your oven due to the holes. On a no holes version of this this ain't happening.I've tried again and made sure there is no leaks.It dues make lovely crisp pastry so I've changed my initial review to 4 stars. One star removed for the leaks.

I bought this to replace an old tin I had and I'm glad I did!!!. I use it mainly for lemon meringue pie. All tins I have used before leave the pie's crust soggy and a bit uncooked, but this one is really fab, the crust is now fully dry and it comes off the tin really easily.The tin is easy to clean, I totally recommend it!.

As a first time baker I have no reference point, but can assure any other purchaser that this is a great product and I have used it for pies also. The removable base is particularly helpful. Very good quality finish and arrived on time. Bought for £8.99 July '17

Really sturdy and solid. A little too easy to remove- first use, I automatically held the bottomand the side ring just fell away from the tart on transport from the oven so easily! Easy to clean and a lovely weight to it.

Fabulous. I'd been trying to make a certain flan for ages and it always had a soggy bottom and a burnt top..... Bought this and it now turns out perfectly. I would definitely, definitely, definitely recommend

Your pastry is properly cooked using this. No saggy bottoms!You certainly can’t go wrong using this quiche tin. No need for baking beans.Prefect.

Made a Bakewell tart which requires a thin pastry base. Cooked perfectly at blind bake stage. Will definitely be buying more in different sizes
