This review is for the 9in/23cm tin.The tin is made from 1mm steel. 1mm may not sound that thick, but this is a very well made sturdy tin.It weighs in at 2lb/900g,so it has some weight to it.The internal depth is 3 inch/7.5cm.The tin has a central hole, with a removal base. (Photo).After cooking place the tin on something round, such as a can of soup, you can then lower the sides away from the base. It makes removing cakes incredibly easy.The bottom is a good solid fit, but not watertight, so if you have a very loose cake mix, it will leak out if you do not line with paper. I just grease the sides, then cut a square of greaseproof paper slightly larger than the base. Place this in the tin,

I ordered this product to bake a 9" Birthday Cake, which was a fruit cake recipe. I found this cake tin to be of Durable quality as this cake was in the oven on low heat for 4 hours. I lined this cake tin with baking parchment paper as it was a fruit cake recipe and a lot of expensive ingredients were in this mix. I did put brown paper around the cake tin to prevent schorching . I was Very impressed with the results from this cake tin. Ie how easy it was to turn the cake out onto the Wire cooling rack.Everything turned out perfect for Me! I intend in purchasing more of this range as it is also good value for money too!

I bought this because I needed to make a long rectangle cake, and I couldn't find a cake tin big enough. So I ended up using this tin and slicing the cake in half to make a cake that was 46cm long and 11.5cm wide. It worked a treat. This cake tin also has refined corners, not too curved, so it allowed for easy applying of the roll-out icing. Due to the shape of this tin, I'd recommend to anyone that wants to craft a bigger cake.

I was surprised by the quality of this item for the price. It is solid and quite heavy and the cake took longer to cook that usual in my cheap thin tin that I previously used. Turned out beautifully though and no leaks. Am very pleased with it and bought the round one too.

If you are looking for a cake tin that needs size and easey to get the cake out this one is excellent, a little on the heavy side but that does mean you get a little more protection in the oven as cakes of this size do need much lomger heat to cook through, Good buy

Brilliant cake tin. With a cake this size, it will often burn or overcook on the outsides before it is cooked in the middle. It didn't with this tin - would highly recommend. Excellent quality, quite heavy and good value for money.

Excellent Cake Tin now used on a few occasions with good results. Like the thickness of the material as it hasn`t warped unlike others I have used. Cleaning is a doddle and i would recommend this Cake Tin to anyone

Found this item to be worth every penny, could not find this size in any of the shops locally and was a bit dubious when ordering best buy yet. Baking a special cake for my grandaughters 4th birthday.

I have few of them in different sizes, they are perfect for me. I bake a lot, and these pans are always non-stick, easy to clean and use. Also good value for money.Would recommend.

Really good quality product would think it's a lot more expensive. Nice weight to it and my cakes come out well in this. If buying more sizes would def but from this company again.

Bought this because of good reviews, was not disappointed. Complete novice in the kitchen, sons birthday cake turned out great, no sticking, easy to remove, super to clean.

Wow!!! what a wonderful cake tin . Always bought cheap tins before but after using this tin not buying cheap again . Will be buying the other sizes in the near future.

When I received it, I just could not believe it would be of such good quality and superb finishing. It has really surpassed my expectations. I strongly recommend it.

Gives a nice even bake as the tin is very sturdy.Just have to remember the base is loose when lifting the tin after putting the mixture in,so hold from the sides!!

This cke tin is really good quality although non stick still lined the tin the wedding cake came out as the best one i'ved baked would recomend this to a friend
