What a wonderful cake tin!I am an avid baker (not professional) and have bought many tins in the past. This tin is very good quality. Unlike other tins I have bought in the past, this one does not dent easily or scratch. As stated it is non - stick and therefore easy to wash when baking sponge cakes. The removable bottom is very handy and works very well. It is also easy to place baking parchment paper in the tin if needed due to the removable base.I would recommend a loose bottomed tin over a springform tin as there is not risk of splitting light sponges when removing them from the tin (Just make sure you loosen the edges of the cake with a knife). This size tin is very common in many bakingrecipes so I would recommended buying at least one but preferably two so that you are able to bake two sponges at a time for your layered cakes. It is good value for money compared to lots of other brands out there.I would recommended spending at least this amount on a tin if you are semi-serious about baking - good tins make a difference! Don;t bother buying very cheap tins as they do not last very long and tend to loose their shape, unlike this one.The tin came well packaged in a box and padding and was delivered in good time.Buy this tin if you like baking!

I've only used this cake tin once so far, and it was a fiddly experience. Having been so excited for its arrival, I was disheartened with the result of its performance.Build material: 10/10 - it's made of very firm heavy-duty metal, the kind that will last you years and not bend in the oven.Performance: 6/10 - it baked a good cake but there were spillages between the base and the ring, despite me greasing the whole tin and putting some baking paper at the bottom to try and seal that area off after reading some reviews on this issue. I guess if you don't want it to leak, you'll have to put baking paper around the whole tin right up to the top edges.Having started off with the MasterClass heavy duty 9lb loaf tin, which I am over the moon with and couldn't recommend highly enough, I thought this would match its quality, but I am left a bit disappointed by it.I've since been recommended PME cake tins so that will be my next stop in bakeware.

I ordered this Master Class Non-Stick Deep Round Cake Tin With Loose Base, 20 cm (8") by KitchenCraft based on the good reviews on amazon. I was looking for a smaller baking tin to create higher cakes with the same amount of dough. The Master Class Non-Stick Deep Round Cake Tin by KitchenCraft:- Available in several sizes (10 cm/4 inch up to 30cm/12inch) – I decided for 20cm/8inch- Loose Base helps to easily remove the cake from the tin and to wash it afterwards- Tin feels like high quality (BPA and PTFE-free)- Comes with a guarantee (Master Class's 20 year guarantee, as well as a five year non-stick guarantee)The product came within the next day (thanks to amazon prime).I am very happy with my purchase and I would highly recommend it to anyone who likes baking and is looking for a good, sturdy baking tin.If you have any questions, please just leave a comment and I would be more than happy to reply.

I was busily gathering all the ingredients for my Christmas cake. Instead of a traditional cake I had decided to try producing a boiled fruit cake. Fortunately for me all the fruit, butter and spices are first heated gently together for 10 minutes and then left to soak overnight before adding all the other ingredients, putting them in a cake tin and ..... Oh dear, what size tin does the recipe say? A 10" one..... and no, there isn't one in the back of the cupboard! The time is 4 p.m-ish. Too far away from shops... what to do? On-line to Amazon... very good range of cake tins.. 3 minutes later item chosen, ordered, paid for. Free delivery promised within 24 hours...And so it happened...cake mixture all ready... for the perfect cake tin. The cake looks pretty perfect too!

I bought this cake tin a bit doubtfully, as the description states that it is 3 inches deep. However, after "asking the community", most of whom assured me that the cake is 4" deep, I made my purchase (although one unhelpful individual wrongly said 3").I am delighted to report that the external measurement of this cake tin is 4" and is plenty deep enough to make a nice, large fruit cake.I did not line the cake tin, but my cake lifted easily out of the tin and was also easy to slide off the base once it had cooled a bit.It was mostly easy to wash by hand, although some cake remnants were extremely difficult to remove from the bottom rim of the walls of the tin. This is the tin's only fault,as far as I can tell after one use.

I've only used this a couple of times but have been very pleased with how my cakes have turned out. I lined the tins because I was making a special cake and didn't want to take any risks, but this tin does seem to have a high quality non sitck finish and is quite a sturdy, heavy tin. The loose bottom is really well designed and the tin has high sides so you can make a good sized cake. Because of this it's helpful when removing the cake to stand the tin on something suitable to lift it off your work surface so that the tin just slides down off your cake when its baked. I think the tin will probably last very well so it's definitely worth paying a bit extra as this is a quality item.It made cake baking a real pleasure.

I bought this cake pan to make the bottom tier of my daughter's wedding cake. It arrived sooner than indicated when I ordered it, so I'm happy with the delivery times. At 30 cm it makes a huge cake and thankfully it has a very sturdy, heavyweight construction. It worked perfectly for me, though I did line the pan with greaseproof paper even though it is non-stick and the non-stick coating looks tough. Old habits die hard I guess. From the quality, I'd expect it to last at least the 20 years stated on the guarantee even if used very regularly - which I don't expect I'll be doing!

WOW I wanted a bigger cake tin for a long time and I did not think I could get bigger than 8'' but I did and not only got bigger but better and none stick as well. It is nice and heavy and is good for 20 years they say but I am afraid I will not be around then unless I live to 103 years old still near that will not be too bad and I shall have made many cakes by then. It came very quick but so it should for the post and packing Amazon charge.Just same. Still I would buy from this seller again. A wonderful baking tin.

I needed an eight inch cake tin for my Chrismas cake but had great difficulty finding one in our area.It is true that I could have purchased a cheaper version from one of our local retailers but it looked and felt cheap and so I sent for this one.Arriving very quickly as usual from Amazon I found this tin to be of good quality. The metal is reasonably heavy and the non sick really is non stick. My cake turned out very well and was easy to get out with the removable base.Highly recommend.

Bought this for a Good Food Christmas cake. Was a different recipe to usual-requiring bread/strong white flour and melted butter, sugar, treacle and syrup. Recipe cook time was 2-2 1/2 hours. I was sceptical. The recipe and tin created fabulous results-really nice cake, evenly cooked and very moist. Cake came out of tin with no problems and washes well. Very pleased with the tin-especially how well it conducted and distributed heat during cooking.

I spent a long time in high street shops and on the internet looking for a heavyweight non-stick cake tin before deciding on this brand and model. It's reassuringly weighty and helps produce perfect cakes, if I have done everything else right!Cake recipes generally recommend greasing the tin and lining with greaseproof paper for extra ease of removal and cleaning and I always follow this method for best results.I now bake with confidence!

This is a good quality product. The tin was purchased as I had to bake a traditional wedding cake. This tin baked the cake beautifully, it is made of a heavy enough metal so that even though the baking time was upwards of 4 hours there was no burning to the sides or bottom of the cake, a good even bake all round was achieved. Worth the price a really good quality cake tin, with a long guarantee.

I bought this tin to make a rich fruit cake for the base of a 4 tier wedding cake. The tin itself is extremely sturdy and I'm sure will last many years. I have a number of tins from this range in regular use and am constantly delighted with their performance. A favourite cake with us is made with a very wet mix, and having read reviewers who said the tin leaks, I very nearly didn't buy it. In truth it just does not leak. When cooked, the cake can be pushed out very easily indeed, provided one has a large tin of beans or similar to rest the cake on and then hold the sides and push down and up comes the cake. Best cake tin I have ever owned.

Master Class really do wonderful cake tins, and all come with a 20 year guarantee. The teflon is starting to come off our tins after 2 years and a few times in the dishwasher, but it doesn't really matter since I always line with greaseproof paper anyway. They're great for cakes that rise massively and also for cakes that you want to make thin, which is why I bought deep ones :)
