Used lots now and remain really great in almost all circumstances.Great 'feel' through the thin material, so you can get a good grip of heavy stuff like big stew pots etc.Good thermal performance, you can hold hot stuff for a good long while before it feels hot.Only slight downside is that being so thin if they get wet they quickly transmit heat, or if you manage to dip a glove into run-over oil from a Yorkshire Pudding tray it can suddenly get very hot!Also sometimes the middle connection part can sag and dip down into the thing you're lifting up.But really these downsides are just a compromise of the design of the gloves that all the rest of the time make them as good as they are,

I purchased these oven gloves to replace an old faithful pair I had used for years which had sadly worn out. I ordered this pair after reading positive reviews and when received I was not disappointed. These oven gloves are great just as good as my original pair and the best ones I have purchased for years. Heavy duty and can hold the hot dishes from the oven securely for a fair amount of time without getting burnt. Really good price item too for the heavy duty quality you receive.

These oven gloves are exactly what I wanted. I tried to save money by getting cheap ones but I ended up with burned fingers. These ones, however, seem to be completely heat proof. I can take things out of the oven and faff about trying to work out where to put them down, and nothing but the faintest warmth comes through onto my hands. They're just what I wanted, and good value.

These are lovely! Soft and comfortable and coping well with containers that have been in the oven at 200C/400F . I gathered from one comment that they shrink when washed, but I can't comment on that, but they are a good size, very roomy, so I hope that when it comes to wash time they will still fit me. I'll try and remember to come back and edit when the time comes.

These are good quality and great value oven gloves, we had some more expensive ones previously but these are of equal quality.The only negative would be that there is only a 'glove' for your hand to go in on one side of them, our old ones had 'gloves' on both sides which was handy if they got dirty, a quick turn over and we didn't spread the mess!!

Very heavy duty as described. Maybe I prefer separate one handed mitts to the connected version of oven gloves - I'm less dextrous with these, and got the tips dirty almost instantly trying to lift a tray of chicken out of the oven. Still, these are well padded and my hands didn't feel in danger of burning like they have with cheaper (thinner) mitts.

These oven gloves are very good value for money. They are soft, flexible and have a loop of fabric by which you can hang them when not in use. I was hoping the trim was green as it appeared on my monitor when I placed my order, but actually it is a soft grey colour. I will upload a picture or two to give a better impression of the colour.

I have had some of these gloves before (from a different store) which are now worn out and as they lasted so well I thought I would replace them with these. They look the same as my old ones but the quality doesn't feel quite the same. Haven't used them much so far so only time will tell how they wear. Okay so far.

No more burnt hands! These bad boys insulate the heat from oven dishes and your skin. Don't use this if you want to either a) Be "man in black" or b) commit crimes without the use of latex gloves. See my review of latex gloves. They are white and get covered in food easily so buy some washing tablets too.

Good thick quality. If, like me, you have hands like a bunch of bananas then they may be a little small, but for anyone with small or medium hands (like my wife) these are excellent. They have a string like construction and so are thick and very insulating. Our preference out of oven gloves.

Finally I've found some oven gloves that keep the heat away!! These are perfect old school style oven gloves that do what they should. I find them great for lifting heavy things out of the oven like full casserole dishes and roasters that you have to hold onto for longer periods of time.

Having had many thin oven gloves over the years, these are a welcome change. They are well padded and provide good protection when holding very hot pans for some time. They are a little stiff but I'm sure this will improve with use. Good value for money and would certainly recommend.

This 'woolen' type oven gloves are just sooo much better than the material ones. These gloves allow you to really feel/grip the item from the oven without fear of dropping it. Only thing I would say is the that olive green edging that is shown in the picture is more grey than green.

I use these serviceable oven gloves several times a day.I like them as they feel safe and sturdy. My oven gloves get very messy, and these can be washed at high temperature. Also, as they are cream, rather than white, they continue to look good even when they are no longer pristine

These are great oven gloves that would look good in any kitchen, not ugly as have seen one suggest. Plain and simple and do the job, however a word of warning if you have stainless steel pots, they are slippery. This may get better with wear or wash but apart from that a good buy
