I'm very pleased with these durable-feeling, large-sized table mats. The watercolour effect, shabby chic design and botanicals theme fits well with the country kitchen decoration scheme in my rural kitchen and replicates the herb planting outside my kitchen windows. The mats have a slight sheen finish, are heat resistant up to 120 degrees centigrade (so are fine for warmed plates, but NOT for casseroles and other cookware taken straight from the oven that have been cooked above this temperature), and cork-backed. The back is printed with a useful reminder of the safe heat limit.Straight out of the box, these smell pretty terrible - with a fairly pungent adhesive or lacquer pong. Thankfully,

These are lovely big placements. Well they are the size all placements should be, instead of the rubbish we are constantly sold. They look well made, I cannot tell whether they wear well yet or are heat resistant. However they look lovely and are a perfect match with my room. However for a piece of wood that goes on the table to protect your table they are steep at £5 each.....But if there was a rating for value it would only have 1 star! I am hoping this in time will be you get what you pay for and they last forever however these days nothing lasts. Then maybe they will be worth the price.

I purchased these on the basis of the excellent reviews and I'm delighted that I did. I have had other cork backed coasters and placemats before and they all end up peeling and splitting and coming away at the edges. These are different though. There is something very high quality about the backing - or fronting really. They have a lovely satin finish and it's almost as if they are finished better and differently to all other cork backed sets. So far these have withstood drinks spillages and super hot serving plates with no marks. Love the retro design too.I would highly recommend these.

Lovely picture/design. Bought May 2017, still as new, so I'd say they last well. Easy wipe-clean. I also bought the matching small tray twice (ASIN B01FBFB0OS) plus the matching large tray and tea set (includes mug) (ASIN B01EYMUAXG). I'd love it if other matching items were available.I've just discovered that someone left a coaster on a windowsill for a few weeks and the colour has changed but the picture has NOT faded and it's only odd to look at when you know it should be green. If I wanted ones to match it I could buy more and leave them on the windowsill :-)

I have been using these large mats for about 5 years and just about needing to buy it as looks a bit scruffy for visitors.When I received that I liked the pattern very much. It looks modern and the colours are lovely.But I have noticed that the mats are not good quality as the last one.It hasn’t got glossy coat and so looks more satin.I think the quality dropped a bit.Though looks lovely on the table.Lovely colour combination.This one looks good on contemporary or traditional dining table.

I am surprised that some reviewers have said they do not think these are of good quality. I have been using them daily for months and am really pleased with them. I bought them as I wanted place mats that matched our new kitchen decor and these fitted the bill. They are a very generous size and have good heat protection qualities. I clean hem with a damp cloth and buff them with a dry cloth.They have had pretty tough use and so far no chips or marks of any sort.

Beautiful image, durable top- the cork on the back could be better protected though. I have a 5 year old and through a couple of normal water spills- one of these has already lost a bit of cork on back. Besides that and at everyone else’s place at the table these are fine and well made. They are also remarkable stain resistant! My kiddo got permanent marker on one and it came off with a tiny bit of bleach and oxy clean. Love them and get lots of compliments.

This 6-pack of placemats is much better quality than those in the similar 4-pack of placemats that I purchased last year. Ticketed with a 'luxury quality' ticket on the outside of the pack was deserved, as the finish is superior. Would highly recommend these, either to keep or to give as a present. Delivery was fast, item was well-wrapped, so arrived in perfect condition. 10 out of 10.

Love this design, they look great with our dining table that has the same distressed paint look. Not used much as of yet, but first impression is that they’re easy to clean and durable. Love the size as well; big enough for a plate and cutlery on the side. Will probably order more in case of guests (yes, they’re that nice that I’d be happy to use them at a casual dinner party).

This set of 6 coasters has a very attractive design of pink and white roses with green leaves. The coasters are practical and hardwearing, cork-backed and with a laminated finish. They are easy to clean and very useful for drinks or for ornamental purposes. Each coaster measures 4" x 4" and this set is a very pretty addition to the contents of a house. Many thanks indeed!

Very nice set of table mats. Came well packaged. So far have been easy to clean & seem to be very durable. I had previously bought a very expensive set but disappointed when the surface started to lift. Nice design too, with the option of matching several colour schemes. Delighted with them. Got the coasters as well. Look so nice on table.

I was pleased on initial opening as lovely subtle design for informal and formal settings which is what I wanted.Nice sized place setting.These feel a much better quality product than my previous mats for a similar price.I will add later a comment on durability but so far I am impressed.

These are cork backed table coasters/mats so protective of my dining table. The size and finish were as expected and I do like them but I was a little disappointed that having “golden” in the description/ title that the middle gold section isn’t the least little bit gold/ shinymetallic.

Don't believe these to be originals but as we don't have any of the smaller mats there isn't any mismatch. We are using these as table centre mats for the main serving bowls and pots etc. Use in conjunction with other placemats the mixed colours and tones blend in beautifully.

arrived within 24hours of pressing order which was really great. The image is not as bright maybe as the amazon photo suggests (is more like an old oil painting look) but is really beautiful. I'm very pleased with how they look and the quality of the cork back etc.
