Absolutely love this bag, no heavy top handles, just a light and sturdy crossover strap, silver metal, much classier than gold, and lots of pockets. The two zipped front pockets have open pouches behind them.The back pocket is zipped and full length, and internally, there is a sizeable zipped pocket, big enough to hold the largest smart phone, this is usually where I keep mine within these bags.The lining is a classy pale grey, solid coloured, with no white to show every mark. The illustration on Amazon showed Jamie as the monkey, but mine was the smaller Davina.The patterning is very subtle, and barely noticeable, I really liked it. This is similar to my previous Beonica bag, but better.

I've bought loads of Kipling bags from Amazon and I won't use anything else now as they are so light and easy to clean. My main criteria for a great Kipling are: roomy without being cavernous, plenty of zipped compartments, secure top zipped fastening, keyholder, internals pockets for phone etc, good shape that doesn't just flop and nice colour or pattern. While this one could be a bit bigger, it does tick all the boxes. It is surprisingly roomy (although you could not easily fit a bottle of water in it); it has loads of zipped pockets (front and Back); internal pockets for phone etc; the top zip fastening is totally secure; it is a good shape that stays firm and neat and it is attractive (I got the navy one with the stick pattern; nice for the summer months).

I have about 10 Kipling bags, all used at various parts of the season. This bag captivated me as it was similar to the first Kipling bag I bought many years ago and cannot replicate. I like the size, just right for me to use every day, It has all the useful pockets that Kipling are known for. I love the colour (light grey) which is a beautiful calm and peaceful shade for summer months and will go with any colour coat or jacket. As always, a perfect bag which will last a lifetime. Kipling bags are waterproof which is indeed a very good thing in the UK climate. I have no fear of the contents of my bag getting damp or wet. A great Kipling bag which is both classy and practical.

This is a lovely bag, plenty of room in the back pocket to store a Kindle or small tablet and a roomy interior. What I didn't like though (and maybe this is a discovery that left handed people always get a bum rap regarding bags), is that if you have the bag on your right hip, the zip pull for the main compartment is at the back of the bag. I think with every other Kipling I own, the zip pull is at the front so you have quick access. With the Izellah though, you pretty much need to take the bag off to open it. I also didn't like the lack of security with the zip pull being at the back. If you don't mind this, or you want to wear the bag on your left hip, it's a super bag.

I love Kipling bags, i have a few bags and purses. This is a lovely bag. Quite roomy. Two zipped pockets and two pouches at the front, big enough for carrier bags and receipts. Large interior with a pen, phone & an extra slot, also a big zipped personal pocket. There is a key hook. The lining is soft. There is also a large zipped pocket at the back. This bag has all the extras a standard Kipling bag has and the quality is great as always. The strap is wider like the older styles which is very comfy. Material is waterproof. The strap is a very dark navy, blue or black but it doesn't spoil the bag. Zips all have Kipling markings. The monkey is named Tara

Love Kipling bags and have several! This one is the perfect size in my opinion, great for everyday use and more stylish than some of the other models of similar size. This will fit an umbrella and has many useful compartments. The key clip is great and feels very secure. The small open pockets on the front are perfect for hand sanitiser as you can reach into these without opening any zips (there are also small zipped pockets on the front of these pockets). This is my favourite Kipling bag so far as it ticks all the boxes.

Love this bag. My 4th kipling bag and it's definitely my favourite. It's a similar size to the Syro but without the flap pocket on the front and so as a crossbody bag, it fits slimmer to your body which I much prefer. Lots of room in the main compartment with the usual keychain, small zip pocket, tissue, pen and phone pockets. There's another zip compartment on the side which is also roomy. If you like the Syro you will like this one too!

Lovely bag lots of compartments the only problem is they should of put the zip opening to the left of the bag as having it on the right would be easy for pickpockets as the zip is towards the back of you.Apart from that well made, good material & a good price as there was an offer on it at the time I bought it & went up in price the next day to about £65, so saved quite a bit of money, gave it 4 stars because of the zip.

I've had several Kipling bags before and apart from one where the stitching went, all have been reliable. This looks set to be the same. The colour is darker than the illustration - more of a lightish mid-grey, and i like it. The strap is a dark charcoal with grey stitching. the size is good - holds all my stuff.

I have knocked off one star as I ordered the brown true beige which is actually a khaki colour, however I still like it, the bag is very roomy without being oversized, plenty of pockets to keep your things organised, I’m definitely going to order another one in a different colour.

The usual, great quality I've come to know and love from Kipling. Plenty of pockets. Great size. I ordered this as there was some negative reviews due to the zip "not being great for a right handed person". I'm a lefty, and for once I feel secure having a bag that zips forward.

Love it! It’s a lovely colour and is definitely navy as described. Good size medium bag with a long strap. I’m a larger lady and the strap in plenty long enough. Plenty of space in the compartment and well made zips. Stitching is good. I will definitely buy again.

Excellent style, design and quality in an extremely lightweight handbag / shoulder bag. Kipling products always offer style, design and quality and this lives up to expectations. The offer price was also very attractive. Bought as a present for our daughter.

I wanted a medium sized cross body bag and this certainly fits the bill. Only downside for me is that I expected a blue colour, and this was a definite navy. All the straps etc match well so I will keep it.

lovely handbag, really appreciate the different pockets. there are three with zips and two "open" pockets. very happy with my purchase. a warning on the colour though, which is bright purple - I love it!
