I purchased an iPad 4th gen when they came out, and bought the Kavaj Berlin case for it. It aged well. I started using it as a mouse pad when I'm gaming on the couch, and consequently gave it the dark 'burned' look on the front of it. The stitching began to fall apart on one corner only because I would spin the case between my hands on a regular basis while talking with friends. Despite my abuse, it's held up very well, and my 4th gen iPad looks new, other than the dent on the corner from when I dropped it, while in the case.Now, I purchased the iPad 2019 7th gen, and bought a new Kavaj Berlin case for it. It looks a bit orange in comparison, but maybe over time it'll start to have that brown look to it.

This Kavaj case is well made. Good fit and nice looking leather. Would have been perfect for me but not my wife. The iPad is held in the case with a leather trim. The leather at the bottom is close to the “Home” button which bothered my wife. She felt it interfered with operating the “Home” button so we returned the case for something else. Amazon made the return easy which is one of the reasons I frequently purchase items via Amazon.

This iPad case for the 10.2" iPad is well made, as is normal Kavaj quality.It is very comfortable to hold in your hands, and the hard leather will withstand the test of time.I have a few cases for my electronics, and these cases always do a good job of protecting my electronics while looking stylish.If you are looking for a case that sets your iPad apart from the standard cases, then I highly recommend this company.

This is my second Kavaj case. I had another iPad Air 2 which my last case protected for about 3 years. The cases wear amazing as they're real leather. I even forgot my iPad on top of my car and it fell off in the middle of the road. I realized it after 5 mins and drove back and there it was in the middle of the road. This case protected it, was scuffed and like leather does it buffed out over time.

After trying a few less expensive cases, I went back to a KAVAJ case. It fits just as well as my first KAVAJ case did years ago. They have tweaked the design a bit. There is not a cut-out for the power button. Just as described, the case is thin and lightweight. All the cut-outs are in the right place. When I replace another iPad, I'll buy another KAVJA case.

The leather quality is high, the case is very tight trying to put the ipad in. Only problem is that when I watch video, it is not stable to stand up right. Maybe more use will improve due to the folding seam is too stiff when new?

Fits iPad perfectly. Auto switch off (sleep) works well. Very good quality. Second I have bought!
