We have this collar in its dark brown variety and have been very pleased. The buffalo leather has a a lovely soft feel and has been treated with Scotchguard to reduce water ingress, while the ring holding the name canister is located such that it's less likely to get caught and ripped off when your woofer is exploring in the undergrowth. Overall, excellent.Edit 24/9/16; Just a quick update to say that the collar is wearing extremley well, it's darkened colour a bit but is still soft, smooth and pliable. The aforementioned name canister is still in place, which is far, far longer than any name tag ever lasted when hanging down at the front.
