Joseph Joseph offer a pretty wide range of chopping board sets to allow you to choose what best suits your needs and the look of your kitchen. If what best suits you is keeping surfaces as uncluttered as possible this set comes with a storage case that via pressure sensitive self-adhesive strips sticks to the inside door or whichever kitchen cupboard is most convenient to you. No screwing or nailing, and done in seconds. You would have to be replacing the chopping boards very roughly indeed to trouble the adhesive holding the case to the wall, so this will pretty much stay where you put it for as long as you need it.But do be sure to stick the case at a convenient height for easy removal and replacing of the chopping boards if you don’t want using a very convenient product to become a repeatedly awkward experience. There are only two chopping boards in this set, one large and one small, but Joseph Joseph’s range seeks to anticipate all chopping board needs you might have. For example, one set has labelled chopping boards so you can always be sure you meet health and safety requirements for preparing veg, fish or meat. However this is not a review of that or any other set from the range, just a suggestion to check out the range. The subject of this review represents simplicity, convenience and tidiness, and the sturdy chopping boards this set contains ought to last you a long time. Cheaper alternatives are of course available, but Joseph Joseph seem to be on a mission to create products that are good to look at as well to use, and paying a little extra sometimes goes a long way towards being happy with product choices that please as much with their form as their function.

This is a set of four knives that are set out in a metal-coloured, plastic storage case, designed to be stuck inside a cupboard door. Although the case is slimline, I found I had insufficient clearance inside my cupboards and was unable to use it, which was a pity as I liked the idea. Bear in mind whether children could access any cupboard where you are considering installation as you may need to add some child locks beforehand; for added safety I would also have liked to see a screw-in option as well as tape to secure to the door. The knives themselves are lightweight with comfortable plastic handles and non-stick, silicone coated stainless steel blades. The entire set costs less than the amount I have paid in the past for a single paring knife, so offers good value in that respect, although I think the knives feel flimsy overall and I am unsure how long they will ultimately last. I do like the integrated knife rests, which reduce contamination on the worktop and are a nice touch. As usual, the knives need to be washed by hand to maintain sharp edges.UpdateI ended up mounting these on the inside of a cupboard door after sorting out the contents to create the necessary space. The tape holding them in place is very strong and, although that has quelled some of my concerns, I am monitoring it closely and chose a cupboard that is accessed less regularly than others, albeit the knives are less conveniently located for access. It looks strange inside a cupboard but it does work and will mean the worktop or a drawer are less cluttered as a result.

I like Joseph Joseph products, they are stylish, practical and often space-saving, the DoorStore Utensils set is a good example.Although the slimline utensile holder is designed to fit inside kitchen doors, it is equally at home on any flat surface. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to identify a suitable cupboard door that fitted in with our working area, so we attached the holder to the outside of a cupboard, where thay hang conveniently to hand without taking up any useful space. See pictures attached. No tools are needed to attach the holder, which sticks to the surface using pre-fitted adhesive tape. Just remove the protective cover, press firmly in place and leave for about half an hour before hanging the utensils. All of the utensils feature weighted handles and, like Joseph Joseph kitchen tools, have integrated tool rests to prevent tool heads from touching the work surface when set downThe set comprises of a slotted spoon, a perforated spoon, a solid spoon and a spatula. All are suitable for all types of cookware and are easy to wash. The silicone tool heads are heat-resistant up to 270°C/520°F and the Nylon handles up to 200˚C/392˚FI’m impressed with the convenience and the quality of this set.

I love Joseph and Joseph. I have chopping boards and knives and all sort of kitchen utensils by this brand so was delighted when I was sent Joseph and Joseph knives to review. The first thought was .... Who sticks a knife holder to anything? Normally you keep knives in a nice wooden knife block or you keep them in a drawer ... but the idea of STICKING the holder to anything was a little odd for me.Next up was I thought about binning the actual knife holder and simply adding the 4 knives to my existing knife block. Unfortunately Joseph & Joseph have a very distinctive design and colour. They simply don't match anything else. As I said I have other Joseph and Joseph knives and chopping boards but they all come colour co-ordinated and everything is pre-populated.There's no space for additional knives. So after a few moments I felt a little put out. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with these. Unfortunately I think they may end up in the drawer with an assortment of other knives which is a shame. The knives themselves are very good. I recommend buying a steel sharpening rod AND a ceramic rod. Learn to sharpen online. The steel gets your knife sharp and the ceramic rod gets it crazy sharp !

I like Joseph Joseph products, they are stylish, practical and often space-saving. The DoorStore knives set is a perfect example.Although the slimline knife holder is designed to fit inside kitchen doors, it is equally at home on any flat surface. If door mounted, it would be much easier to use an underwork surface cupboard, but we have a three year old granddaughter who loves opening doors. As that could be very dangerous, we chose to mount the holder on the outside of a cupboard, see picture attached. No tools are needed to attach the holder which sticks to the surface using pre-fitted adhesive tape. Just remove the protective cover, press firmly in place and leave for about half an hour before putting in the four knives. All of the knives feature weighted handles and, like Joseph Joseph kitchen tools, have integrated tool rests to prevent blades from touching the work surface when set downThe set comprises of a 3½" Paring knife, a 4½" Serrated knife, a5" Santoku knife and 6" Chef's knife. All are very well balanced and very sharp.I’m impressed with the convenience and the quality of this set.

A review from the wife...I love the innovation of Joseph Joseph products and was very excited to try this set. The design of these knives is tiered/ stepped to ensure that it fits in between cupboard racks neatly allowing you to close the door tidily. It is easy to install and the provided adhesive holds it in place reasonably. The knives are not a snug fit inside the holder so do tend to rattle when you open and close doors. The knives themselves are of good quality and have the Joseph Joseph trademark rests to ensure they do not touch the work surface. I found all the knives to be adequately sharp. I have other Joseph Joseph knives that have come with an in-built sharpener and it is a shame that this feature is not included in this set.Overall,I think this is another inventive product from Joseph Joseph and if you are limited for space on your kitchen work tops, I would recommend it. If, however, you do have ample storage, I would probably recommend choosing the individual Joseph Joseph knives with built in sharpeners.

The tools in the set are really good, they are comfy in the hand and don't scratch pans. They also have a cunning feature of a little stand on the handle which means you can lat the tool flat on the work surface and the business end does touch the surface meaning you can place it down mid stirring to add more ingredients without making a mess. The hanging rack has me less convinced, I initially like the idea but the reality was it didnt work too well with out cupboard doors - there wasn't quite enough room. The other thing is that I have no idea how sticking the pads attached to it are and if they would damage my cupboards should I want to remove them so did not use them. What I did use was some commands trips, these were plenty strong enough to keep the rack annd tools in place but also very easy to remove without any damage. In summary, I like the tools but the rack did not work out for my kitchen - it may in yours but I would consider using command strips instead of the attached pads just to be safe.

From ever-popular Joseph Joseph, this 'Joseph Joseph DoorStore Utensils 4-Piece Elevate Silicone Kitchen Tool Set with in-Cupboard Rack, Multi' is an attractive set comprising four silicone kitchen utensils (a spatula, draining spoon, big spoon, and a turner), with different coloured handles, and a self-adhesive hanging rack for them. These are from their 'Elevate' range, which means that they have integrated rests which prevent them from sitting flat on a work surface. The utensils work fine - I would have preferred the turning thing to be larger, but it does the job - and are easy to wash, although I am finding that they are discolouring a little after only a few weeks' careful use. This makes me feel that the price premium you pay for Joseph Joseph products just isn't worth it (I have had products from them previously which haven't proved any more durable than much cheaper alternatives), and while they do look nice and the rack is a great idea, I'm not sure that they represent good value.

These boards are designed to save you counter space by sticking to the inner of a cabinet door. This is an excellent way to save space in the kitchen and the stickers are strong to be holding up well with use.The boards themselves are a firm strong plastic, if you hack or lean heavily when you chop you will mark it but if you cut cleanly and with some skill you won’t get more than superficial scratches- my father in law unfortunately though gouges any chopping board but especially plastic. They have little raised dots which help support and lift the board off the surface which replicated the trick of a damp bit of kitchen towel to stop slipping when you cut which is great. And BOTH sides are textured to prevent the food slipping about which is great to prevent injuries from hands and knives going in different directions.Overall a great idea to save money and counter space

From popular brand Joseph Joseph, this 'Joseph Joseph DoorStore Knives 4-Piece Elevate Knife Set with in-Cupboard Storage case, Multi' is a set of four kitchen knives - ranging in size from 3.5" to 6", so no bread knives - with an innovative holder which enables you to store them stuck inside a cupboard door using the adhesive strips provided. The holder is great and a good idea, but - as I tend to feel with Joseph Joseph products - the innovative design doesn't make up for the fact that the actual knives aren't the best quality. For a serious cook, these really wouldn't cut it (pardon the pun - I'll get my coat...). They are balanced reasonably well but not as well as they could be,and as well as I'd expect for the price premium on JJ products.Good idea, and decent knives for most domestic use, but if you're a serious knife aficionado then look elsewhere.

I really like the aesthetic of Joseph Joseph products: they have a minimalist yet practical design which makes any kitchen look super stylish. This set of four kitchen utensils comes with a hanger which is intended to fit on the inside of a cupboard door but can equally well be fixed on the outside of a unit. Indeed, why would you wish to hide these utensils away when they look so appealing? The blue, green and yellow colour scheme blends very well with my kitchen palette. As they're silicone, they can be used on non-stick pans without a problem and they're hygienic and really easy to clean. I like the thoughtful design addition of a little tool rest near the base of the handle, which prevents the utensil from coming into contact with the kitchen surface when you put it down. I'm very happy with them and I've already recommended this set to a few people.

Another cracking idea from Joseph Joseph. Having a small kitchen and limited storage I love things which take up least space and tend to use them most because they are readily to hand. This idea of having a knife block stuck to the inside of a cupboard door is my kind of gadget. For something that spends most of its life hidden away the knife block and knives are very attractively designed. The block adheres to the back of a door via super strong 3M adhesive pads which are 100% effective provided you remember to prepare the door surface by cleaning, de-greasing and drying it. Once in place the knives slide easily in and out of the block. The knives and the block can easily be wiped clean. So far the knife block has stayed in place for over a year but I'm not worried as you can source new sticky 3M adhesive pads to repair it.

Pack comes with lightweight metal holder and two Joseph-Joseph chopping boards. There is already a full set of boards from the same manufacturer in the kitchen, but these are used by anyone in the family as they are always on the worktop and have given very good service over many years of daily use, but the concealed fitting of this set behind one of the lesser used cupboard doors appealed to me.They were so easy to fix following the instructions, no fixings such as screws are required as the glue pads really do stick. The metal holder looks clean and takes up very little horizontal space, the boards fitting snugly into it.The boards themselves are of a firm plastic with a non-slip pattern ontheir surface and promise a long life in normal kitchen use:A really good idea for the smaller kitchen or galley.

The Joseph Joseph DoorStore Knives are a low-cost, space saving option for the kitchen. The positives are the price and the storage option. As starter knives, they are adequate. I have owned better quality knives, and the set does not include a larger (bread-cutting) knife - though the knife sizes are clearly stated in the product description. They are light to hold and use, and are fairly sharp. The design also means that the blades remain off the surface, which is a good design feature. But the major benefit is the ability to store the knives in their holder insize kitchen cupboards, as a way of keeping your work-tops clutter-free.So if you are looking for a set of starter knives, with a good out-of-sight storage option, this set from Joseph Josep could be ideal.

These pastel-coloured utensils look great in my cream gloss kitchen - I've fixed the hanger onto the side of a cupboard unit near to my hob. The hanger is attached with small strips of adhesive (that are already in place on the hanger), so it's really easy to put up. It's labelled as an 'in-cupboard' rack but really it can go wherever suits your kitchen space. The four utensils (slotted spoon, spoon, spatula and slotted spatula) are all the same size, and my favourite thing about them is that they all have a little 'nobble' on one side that acts as a kind of in-built 'rest', to keep the utensil from making a mess on your work surface (think 'spoon holder' effect). They're all dishwasher safe, and suitable for use in non-stick pans.I am really pleased with it! :)
