When I saw this JBL Eon One Compact all in one rechargeable personal PA system l immediately thought of my son , who has a band as well as busking on the streets of Brighton, the old amp he's been using has seen better days , so I ordered this for him , I m going to be Supermum this Christmas that's for sure !It arrived delivered by a courier , who told me ' be careful it's heavy' as he launched it into my hands .It was well packaged in Three boxes !The first thing to do when you open it up is to charge the unit (a full charge is fast it takes just two and a half hours) , making sure that the power switch is in the off position ,you then connect the power lead and plug in .There is a a battery level meter on the top of the unit which shows the amount of 'juice ' in the unit by a series of vertical lights . When the lights reach the top the System is fully charged .Before connecting anything you need to turn the volume switch all the way to the left ( don't want to blow your eardrums )Connect your leads using the Jack's and then turn on the power switches an LED light lets you know the unit is ready .Setting up channels is simple just follow manufacturers instructions , because the system supports Bluetooth for the audio streaming you need to press and hold the Bluetooth button to make the device pair .download the App ( this is available on iTunes and play store )Well most of this has got my head in a spin because I have never used a PA System , but my son insists the set up is easy as pie .He's already using it and is happier than I could have thought possible .He says because the entire unit only weighs 8kg and it's small enough to fit in his car making easy for him to move from venue to venue , he loves that he can control the effects from his phone .£549 is a lot to pay but it's definitely a good investment especially for someone like my son trying to make his way in the music world . There are so many possible applications for other users too not J at for musicians it can be used by anyone to #playanywhere .From the Harman brand ( must be kismit )JBL Sound is Legendary and you could become one using this fantastic System !

A friend who has impaired hearing said he could hear music played on a linear array system better than on the amp and two stand lofted passive speakers I use at our weekly tea dances. I pooh-poohed the idea stating that the dual speaker system must give a better, more even spread of sound. After a year of blanking his complaints I decided to investigate. The matter clearly turns on the tweeters which generate the the high-pitched part of the sound. This was where my friend's hearing loss was greatest. Once I compared how the two systems treated high pitched sound I saw the possibility of making sense of his claims. Two single 1 inch tweeters produced all the sound on my system. There were six 2 inch tweeters on the linear array system. Clearly more energy was going into the high to medium pitched part of the music where my friend's hearingwas deficient.Once I saw this I decided to get such a system. I purchased The JBL Eon One although I leant towards the Peavey and RCF systems until the very last minute. The Peavey had 3 inch tweeters but no mixer. The RCF seemed great but getting the Jmix8 was more than I wanted to spend.I decided to go for the Eon One in the end because it was great value - I only paid £500 - and because it was such a compact package. It takes about a minute and a half to set up. It is much heavier than any of the separate parts of the old system but I don't lug it round. I picked up a 4 wheeled dolly for £10 or so. This makes moving it around a doddle. It fits easily into the boot of my car and would fit on the back seat, too.The system is more than loud enough. I can now be one of the first to the cafe when I used to be among the last. The group seem to like the woodburner as they term it and I've been reimbursed for 80% of its cost. All in all I wouldsay it's been a very good buy.

I use this JBL EON ONE Compact - All in One Rechargeable Personal PA System primarily for kids birthday parties: the sound is easy enough to drown out the din of 20 or 30 kids high on sugar!Easy to set up and connect via bluetooth, with a wide range of controls and features that I have to confess I don't really use (it's not that they're not useful but I don't need them but I can see how others might). The product has some weight, as you'd expect but nothing excessive or inhibitive - I'd say that this is highly portable and I would be suspicious of its quality if it were any lighter. The quality of the sound at all ranges is surprisingly good. I've even used this at exercise classes when I like to pump out either hard trance or hard rock. After some fairly intense use, it's still holding up well, with no fuzziness or crackling because the speakers can't handle the amplification. The only drawback I have with this is that it doesn't have a built in CD player. A lot of my music is not available on streaming services and streaming service quality is ok for casual listeners on cheap headphones but doesn't really hold up under quality amplification. Therefore, I would have appreciated the option to play music directly from its source rather than through a third party (this isn't an issue for me at kids parties, who just like god-awful chart hits or nursery rhymes).Overall, I'm impressed on all levels with this JBL EON ONE Compact - All in One Rechargeable Personal PA System. I would just like to have been able to play directly from CDs but otherwise, I can highly recommend.

I have Soundcraft Ui16 Mixer, which is advance version of Harman's mixer functionality, hence their engineer's has made a stripped-down version of same mixer User Interface to give entry-level professional user freedom of wireless management of Amplifier + Mixer system. It's ideal for guitar, solo performance, or duet Karaoke performance, apart from other listed features. Packing was good, and it had original JBL Box - packed in original JBL Outer carton - which was packed in Amazon Box.. so perfect package, and almost overnight delivery - which is awesome.I pray God, that I never have to use aftersales support for this system as I don't know if any such things prevails.Demo of this Speaker is neither promised nor offered, provided. So - as a professional, you would need to learn on the go.Its user manual is very easy to understand. In the end, they gave detailed information about what kind of cables are to be designed and used for connecting to this.At lower frequency it's BASS would distort a little bit. Deep Echo reverb can not be experienced unless you route your input through a professional mixer.Ui16 Mixer can be operated through mobile(both Android and iOS), Tabs, and Laptop. Despite having same Soundcraft/Harman software - this speaker does not have full feature versatility across the devices which JBL is capable of delivering. I would buy another speaker when those functionalities are added in the next upgraded model until then this is the best professional speaker anyone could ever get.

This is a fantastic bit of kit from JBL - hefty at 8kg but still a very portable PA system, with a good rechargeable battery.Out of the box - a reassuring amount of packaging for such a valuable item - setup is easy thanks to plain English instructions. The first job is to charge up the battery to full power, which takes up to 2.5 hours from flat. I can confirm that the battery can managed the advertised 12 hours of output. There is plenty of flexibility in terms of inputs, including XLR/TRS combo jacks, guitar input, Aux, USB and Bluetooth for wireless connection to music sources. So who is this product for? I believe is perfect for solo performers, and a guitar player helped me test the product, using it for performances in small venues such as a cafe.In these scenarios the sound output is fantastic - loud, crisp and clear. While not light, it is easy enough to carry it short distances with the built in handle, and the unit can fit into tight spaces.Another use for the unit is as a speaker for audio from a Bluetooth device, such as a smartphone. In this mode the volume limit is not ultra loud, but loud enough to fill a good size room in a house. The battery again is the key, enabling easy movement of the device around between rooms. This product is up to the standard we expect of JBL, with fantastic sound reproduction, and a lot of power, battery life and connectivity in a truly portable unit. For solo music performers it will be a great companion.

I sing on a regular basis in care homes (currently outside and in care home pods) due to Covid. I needed something that was battery powered so that I didn’t need to plug into the care homes electrics.I previously tried the Bose s1 and found that every time I went near it , it had constant feedback and was very toppy. I sent it back after two uses.I have to say that this is so much better than the s1. A really nice, clear sound, no feedback when going near it. Even on full volume, the sound is nice and clear and very easy to control using the side panel. The reverb is excellent and the Bluetooth connects straight away as soon as I switch on my laptop.I haven’t used the app as I didn’t want tomess the settings up but am happy with how the settings are so will probably just leave it as it is.The only negative that I could possibly say is that it didn’t come with a cover and for the price, would’ve been a nice added extra. If you are debating between this and the s1, I would highly recommend this for smaller rooms , especially if you need to stand right next to it.* one other negative I’ve decided on is the fact that I can’t just press reverb on and off, but still very happy with it** new update- am disappointed with this when using outside. The sound is completely lost, no good for outside gigs, having to use with an array to get any proper sound. Wishing I’d bought something bigger

I did an awful lot of research on line array systems before I bought this product. Took about 3 months to finally point my radar to this one. I'm a solo pub and club singer and I use this for small to medium size venues. What amazed me the most was how full and balanced the sound was that this system generated. Literally jaw dropping, especially the mids. Normally takes a bit of twerking to dial in the mids properly but the clarity shone through from the first time I used this. The base is typical of JBL, strong and a good thump but not boomy like a lot of subs I've heard. The performance factor of this far out ways the price point. I've heard many systems with far bigger price points not match this.In a word sensational. More than impressed and what's more my audiences have nothing but praise for my sound which always brings a smile. In my experience, if they take the extra time to notice it's quality then it's money well spent. The only gripe I have is the weight. Its not light, 40lb is a stretch for some. However it's better than lugging separate speakers, stands and subs. I can finally have the back seat of my car free when I go to a gig. So all in all a fantastic product. Still early days and twerking the sound perfect but from the impression it has left from the first few gigs a total win. Worthy of most venues in my opinion and 1 is more than adequate. Well done JBL!

Well, what can I say, a brilliant speaker? Yes, it definitely is in my opinion and here's why. This is a great price for the travelling musician, DJ or just for having parties at home or my case on the beach in the summer, this speaker has a wide range of applications and I have really enjoyed the review of my first ever PA speaker.I requested this because my son has just started playing the guitar and I saw the potential to use the speaker on the go with the ability to charge it, giving you a 12hr battery life when fully charged. The speaker has an app available for easy control via a Bluetooth device (phone/tablet).It is easy to set up out the box, Plug anything into the jacks or USB, turn it on,wait for the LEDs to light up and your good to go.It sounds great plugged into a guitar and is great because it's an all in one speaker, no need for separate speakers, stands and subs. The sound is very clear and throaty if you need it (when dialled in ) It can be carried quite easily by me but it is 40kg so some may struggle a bit, I would recommend an over the shoulder Burgen type bag to carry it if you find its too much by hand. The £515 price I saw (December 2019) is what I would expect from a speaker of this quality and I expect that will last if cared for properly. A brilliant purchase for any budding musician.Steve, 37 (Dad)

The first use of the JBL all-in-one rechargeable personal PA was straight out of the box. It was an intuitive set up for someone with basic technology awareness and was easy to set up without reading the instructions. I charged the unit first as I would do with any rechargeable device prior to use and paired it via Bluetooth to a mobile phone and began to stream music .Pairing process was nice and simple and the volume easily controlled by the device. The range on the Bluetooth connectivity was impressive as we moved the speaker into another room and continued to stream uninterrupted Christmas songs for the duration of my lunch break, from the mobile phone which remained in the original room. The next use of the speaker was for a Christmas party, linking a microphone to the unit. For its size, this system offers great sound and power. Very portable and sounds great indoors and outdoors. The speaker is loud and clear, and I would suggest this unit is ideal for events of between 50-75 people/guests. The controls deliver the dynamics that they promise. The manual is easy to read, if you need it at all and the battery life is good.Overall this is pretty good for the price and cones highly recommended .

Am a big fan of JBL products and this one was most awaited after it's release in oct 2019. Ordered on 19th Jan from the first sale in India and delivered in just 3 days. One of the most compact battery powered PA system with 2 way 8 inch woofer and 1 tweeter - mono 112 dB loud sound n weights just 8 kgs and handle is provided for easy carry on. Just out of the box , the sound was not that great but when linked to JBL compact connect mobile app and adjusted EQ , it really sounded amazing. Need to study a bit on settings ,menus etc. But after 2 days now it's set to perfection. You can save the settings as well. You an connectvival microphones, guitars , Bluetooth , aux ,and there are headphone and audio out Jack as well. You can pair up to 4 Spkears using the app. FX send to all 3 channels - reverb, delay and chorus. After little struggle able to set right mix for all 3 channels for karaoke set up.Extremely happy about this investment. Recommend for house partys, karaokes

In a word, fantastic. Out of the box, this thing is lighter than you expect, easy to carry and dead easy to set up. Mine was already half charged so thought I'd give it a test. Connected a device via Bluetooth, just press the Bluetooth button, pair and it's done. The sound is amazing. Dials on the side can be used to change the bass and treble to finetune it or download the app onto your phone and do it that way.Inputs are:- Bluetooth- 2 XLR/TRS Combo Jacks- 1/4 inch Hi-Z Guitar Input- 1/8 inch AuxIt also has two USB ports for charging your devices with.Battery lasts up to 12 hours and is easily replaceable so you can take a spare for a really long gig. Also a nice touch,it can lower the background music when speech input is detected.All-in-all, this is a great bit of kit, useful for gigs, PA address, garden party or just playing your own instrument/music.

Pros:The sound quality is superbSolid build and feel of qualityPortableVisuals/aesthetic designVolumePortabilityVersatility of use (as an amp, speaker, public address)WeightCons:None.I've been very pleased with this system and have found it versatile and fun. The sounds is great, both deep and bassy and with great battery life. The app is great but also a gimmick for the most part, as with most products that incorporate apps these days. That said the app is capable and connection a breeze, so make of it what you wish. It's great for the price point and can't be faulted. Better products are available but also at higher price points...Buy it for music, fun, open spaces, parties,as an address system and anything else that floats your boat or your list of requirements. You won't be dissapointed.

What I liked:Great build qualityPushes a lot of SPL for size & weight.Extensive EQ OptionsGreat portabilityAmazing battery life (Over 6 hours at absolute Max Volume) - 12 Hours at moderately loud volumesDecent bass extension for a full range speaker of this sizeNit Picks:Not a fan of the LED indicator around the encoders, they are far too wide and it's hard to discern meaningful info regarding levelsAdvertised frequency response is misleading (37.5hz) - I did a Frequency sweep at flat EQ which showed usable response from about 50hz upwards.Sound quality not as accurate and nuanced as other PAs I have owned but is better than average for sure.App seems to take a while (over 10 seconds maybe)to Link with the speaker before you can begin to change settings.

Always liked JBL. Also have the portable Extreme, which is really good. I needed something with a bit more power and extended frequency coverage. The Eon One Compact does not disappoint. It sounds fantastic and can fill a large room with high quality accurate sound. The battery lasts ages, not run out of charge yet, had it running for 6 hours using half the charge. The parametric eq is fantastic on the app, you can finely tune the speaker to the environment. Word of warning, if you turn up the bass and then turn up the volume, you can overdrive the woofer and it sounds terrible. It does have its limits. If you want to go loud, leave the eq flat.Otherwise, definitely worth the money for a compact, lightweight, high power, fine sounding PA speaker.

Wow, this is an impressive bit of kit. Although 'only' 8kg it is pretty heavy and I can't carry it for long distances which restricts what I can do with it, but I know that most personal PA systems weigh a lot more so I should probably not complain! The sound is amazing, it is clear and can go very loud. Very, very loud. This is perfect for many things, I love that I can charge it and then use it without having to worry about whether there will be power. I just can't get over the sound quality. If you're looking for a versatile speaker that easily connects to your phone/computer/tablet via Bluetooth then this is a great one to get, worth every penny if you want great sound quality.
