Love these speakers. I was looking at small line array sub-sat type systems but could not find one that really did it for me.....and they were quite a bit more expensive. I was lucky that I happened upon these in my quest for the perfect speaker. I have a lot of gear from basic Behringer mixers to beautiful Adlib Audio speakers (better than your Mackie SRM450's in my opinion. These Troupers are very very good for the money. Well thought through and presented overall. Bluetooth has hiccoughed a couple of times but I can live with that. To all intents and purposes you probably wouldn't use Bluetooth in a critical situation anyway so no problem really. For me setting them up is lightening fast and they sound.......wonderful.Well balanced with just a trace of peakiness in the vocal sound. Bass is there tight and controlled. Not ultra low of course but there in good order. Midrange is great detailed and sure and the treble is very clear. You do not really have to mess with the eq. They are ideally balanced I think and I can be quite picky. They go loud. I could go on but I think that Alto will sell a boatload of these at this price. I haven't hooked the speakers bluetooth to bluetooth yet (no cabling needed in stereo!!) but I trust they will work fine. Buy these they are up to the job!

Have only used at home so far and a small gig at a residential home but the sound is punchy and clear and there is plenty of bass for small spaces. Bluetooth works well and it seems perfect for a solo performer as well.Update: (July 2018) - I have used this speaker in a small bar for a few gigs and it is loud enough and clear enough - perfect for a solo performer if you don't use effects.Further update (December 2019) - Have been using this with an Alto ZMX122fx mixer or Behringer 1202fx for a coffee shop for a couple of months and it is perfect. Clear sound and plenty of headroom. Minimal feedback as well even at high volumes.

Amazing kit for the money. The Bluetooth works well but note that the Bluetooth link only works on Bluetooth music and not XLR inputs. This is also such a lightweight bit of kit it's so usable. I use singularly most of the time and two for bigger gigs but one tends to do the trick in most instances. Shame there are no effects built in but that's being picky. I love this kit and have used extensively for about a year now. Superb

Perfect in combination with a passive mixer with effects (or TC Helicon pedal as I use it!). Good full range, transparent sound for the acoustic performer, slim profile & lightweight construction. Haven't used the Bluetooth stereo link as I just prefer ye old trusty cable. Great for pub & small community hall gigs. Well worth the money!
