I read a lot of reviews on these tires. This is my first nice road tire and I use them on my Trek Checkpoint for road riding/commuting (otherwise 28 and 32 Gatorskins). I truly feel that there may have been some serious quality control issues on the first go-round because I'm a believer! I'm 500 miles into these after a month of riding, lots of commute time and weekend rides with the roadie crew. They set up easily on my cheapo Bontrager tubelss ready ~18mm internal rims. A tubeless setup hint, the creases in a tire right out of the box need to be worked out- I used the biggest tubes I have and pumped air in them to give the tire some shape, not on the rim just tire and tube.Let them sit for a few hours or overnight. Work the bead into the rim all around the tire. The back tire hooked up with the floor pump, the front with a C02!! No problems, quick setup and we're off.The feeling of tubeless tires, knowing that you will unlikely pinch flat and have sealant ready to fill up holes really takes the pressure off when riding. I baby these more that my Gatorskin 32's but who wouldn't? All in all this is a great supple tire, I have the 28's and at 6'2"/190lbs I'm running about 75-80 psi. I normally have to fill them with a few pumps of air once a week.

I got a new bike in September of Last year (2017). I have put 1,500 miles on these tires. They roll great, grip well, and I ride on some pretty rough tarmac and even short stints of gravel. I have not had any problems with punctures that Stan's couldn't handle. I ride in agricultural areas and have run over my fair share of goat-head thorns. Stan's always manages to seal the punctures and the tires hold air. The biggest problem I have had with them happened just recently. I had a car pull out in front of me, and I had to lock up the brakes. I skidded for about 20 feet. That skid, ground all the rubber off on the tire, down to the threads underneath. With a softer, lighter, racing tire like this one, that is not too un-expected.I have liked these tires enough to order a replacement for the aforementioned event. They ride nice and handle well. I weigh 180 lbs and I run them around 80 psi. on Reynold's Assault SLG Carbon Clincher rims.

Schwalbe has made a good tire with Pro One. It is easier and more hard rubber mixture. It gives more points rings resistant tires blah. helped me through 270km Hærvejsløbet without punt ring. My setup is tubeless on a set of Shimano DA-C24 wheels and it rolls better than the Tube. The weight is about the same as with tire / tube. Since then I had a puncture which sent some patching liquid goop out. So I stop and glue a patch on the outside to keep on patching liquid. When I come home, I put a new patch on the inside of the tire because the high pressure in racing tires may well pop patching liquid plug out and then you are the punctured again. The only drawback is wet which covered perhaps lacking a little grip.Drive safely.

I first purchased these one year ago. They worked flawlessly for about 11 months. After an incident where I ran over a significant amount of broken glass, they began to leak air, such that the sealant was not able to fully seal the leaks. Once the the tire was damaged by the glass incident, they were still rideable, and they would hold air during the ride, but once the ride was over the tires would leak and drop to about 20 psi.My overall impression is they are excellent tires. I don't expect tires to seal with as many holes as they received, but they held up well anyway. They never left me stranded on the side of the road.

I have well over 8K miles on riding these tires. In that time I have replaced the front tire twice and the rear 4 times. I have had a number of punctures, but far fewer than I did with tubed tires. All but one was easily sealed up with the sealant. On that one occasion I put in a rubber plug and the problem was solved.Mounting them on my I9 wheelset can be tricky with a lot of fluid lost. I don't think it could be done without a compressor. Once they are up there are zero problems. The ride is fantastic, grippy and supple. I ride at 90psi and weigh in at 185lbs.

I recently went tubeless, but my last set of tire were "Tubeless Compatible" leaked around the bead and needed refilling daily (I used sealant)... the front even had a blow out, one bead coming completely off. These tires have a much more substantial bead and even kept air without sealant for a while (waited 30 minutes until I got tired of waiting before adding sealant). I only have about 80 miles on them, but they feel great on the road.

So far I love this tire. It is not that difficult to set up tubeless with an air compressor. It would not set dry, even with a belt around the tire, but once sealant was added it went on ok, without the need of a belt. Compared to a continental gp 4000s II it measures 28mm wide on my wheel with a 19.5 internal rim width, where the continental before it measured 27mm wide on the same wheel. My actual weight was 267g.

I don't understand all the negative reviews here. I now have a set of these on three different bikes, including a tandem. I have ridden them on the mountains of North Carolina on 45mph descents and ground through hundreds upon hundreds of miles of brutal chip-sealed central Texas roads without problem. The roll easy and smooth, mount up easy and inflate tubeless easy.

I have had no troubles whatsoever with this tire. It is quick and very comfortable. Of course I ride it tubeless. It is a hassle to fit Compared to other road tires I own though, wish it was a little Easier for the occasional roadside repair (had a puncture / tear once and had two put a tube in there. What a pain That was in the field ).

second pair of these tires. Durable, fast rolling, and handle well. But you have to be realistic - anything larger than a small thorn cannot be plugged with sealer in a high pressure road tire. Hit a nail and you'll have sealant spraying all over your legs. :) But they are tough and I haven't had any problems.

I believe this is the best tubeless road tyre available at present. Quite tight on some wheels but that's not all bad as it seals easily. Mounted and inflated I found it slightly over 25mm so mudguard clearance was tight when max 25mm required. Overall a very good tyre.

This is excellent right away noticed smooth, gripper fast tire . my rides are more enjoyable now my bike feels more complaint and tight if that make sense. I can see why these are very popular in Europe . I ordereda set for my mountain bike as well.

Had a hole at the first exit with this pleasant to drive tires. Thanks to the sealant, the hole mended by itself, which is very convenient and works perfectly. But since about 2-3 bar air was lost, it is good to have a co2 cartridge with him

Best tubeless tyres ever! Easy to fit and once done, your ride is completely transformed. The rolling resistance is second to none, and the fact that they are tubeless makes them impervious to pin flats! Totally recommended

Really like the tires might just be me but from the other tires I was running these are wider softer ride seemed really grippy and it feels like they're fast rolling as of so far I recommended
