Having broken my neck I wanted a tyre to give me confidence on my new Trek Fuel ex 7 29er.In the short 5 months I got to ride the bike (before it got stolen by some house m8s) it went through pretty much every condition. I kept thinking about swapping it, but every time I'd bang down a trail and it would hang on. Wet rock, thick mud. Roots still confuse it, but then that's a hard thing to overcome. Naturally I had a couple of rooty crashes, but for the most part it took me down black graded mtb trails, down mountains in wales and through motox trails in woods. People would tell me they only ride in the dry. Stick one of these on the front with a nobby nic on the rear and even though you might not be going quite as fast as some of your m8s,

This tyre is BIG! I fitted it tubeless and it was straightforward to do so. I feel more confident on this in a range of different conditions (wet rocky, muddy, broken and stoney, etc. than I did on the previous tyre - a Maxxis High Roller 2 - and on Amazon I was able to purchase two Hans Dampfs for less than the cost of one Maxxis. I have the Trailstar at the front and the Pacestar on the back. Probably makes climbing up forest roads a bit harder, but gives lots of confidence on the descents. Highly recommended.

As above, this is a fantastic tyre. Normal selling price is much more so grab yourself a bargain here.Very grippy - my bike spends loads more time sideways since fitting this, with maximum grip and total confidence. The only thing to check is that 2.35 doesn't really describe just how massive the carcass of this tyre is. Check your frame clearance carefully to make sure it'll fit.If it does, it's a winner. I doubt that Everest would pose a challenge to this tyre.

Fantastic price. .amazingly delivered within 4 days and exactly as described,this is a genuine product.As for the tyre,its super grippy in typical damp slippery conditions here in England yet still rolls well enough on asphalt when required,fits perfectly on an Alex rim with no problems and no issues with the width,its not as big as a 2.5' tyre and fits my genesis mantle 30 well with mud clearance..just buy you will not be disappointed

I use this as a front tyre on my mountain bike and it offers loads of grip. I was previously using Maxxis ardent tyres front and back, but they tend not to work very well in the mud. These tyres have a nice tread and really seem to excel in those wet muddy conditions, which in turn inspires confidence.

Fantastic grip in the dry on compact stuff and also in the wet on mud. Tyre does generally clean itself of mud whilst riding.Only draw back is the tyre is a little bit on the heavy side but this reduces all wall movement which increases grip. Still worth 5 stars imo.

good grip, I would only put on front as it a big tyre, can run a very low psi as it has snakeskin walls
