This is for the 27.5x2.8 size MY2018. The MY2018 weighs in around 795-820g. The new, MY2020-2021 in the same size now weighs in at 950g. Both have the same width on my caliper and rolls fast. Just heavier on the scale but I can’t feel the difference when pedaling.I put in about 8 months, 1k miles on my Rocket Rons but only in the rear. Traction is very good in the dry especially on bikes with short chainstays (326-336mm). On chainstays than are long with steep seat angle, the rear breaks traction easily on the gravel climbs, while cornering (no brakes applied) and when the trail is wet. Again, I only feel this on long CS. Short CS, traction is good. Braking for both short/long CS are very good.Knobs at 4.19mm tall.

I've ridden Rocket Ron's for over 3 1/2 years and they are fine tires for the ridding I do in the San Franciso Bay Area, We have many challenging trails that are steep, rocky, dusty, as well as fire roads with rocks, mud, and gravel. I am looking forward to using my new tires.

I would buy this maturity again anytime, best performence in the corner and also the rolling resistance is great. Had the Conti X-King before that did not work. Once swallow always swallow

Very good allrounder, in dry and wet conditions / weather, is a bit too short in real mud, but that was not my intention as a choice for these tires ... highly recommended!

I've been using the tires for many years and have never had any problems. They are excellent, have great grip and put everything in. Only recommended.

Very good tires, offer sufficient grip, robust. My previous set lasted 2 years or about 8000 km

On all sides a good tire, I recommend the path as a front wheel. Easy tubeless installation.

Versatile tire for normal hiking. Correct grip in mud, not the most resistant to punctures.
