I got this for my 45l goldfish tank to help keep the water oxygenated.This is a small and fairly quiet pump. Its really simple to set up and use.You connect a small piece of air hose to the outlet. Then put in a one way valve (to stop water going back into the pump when its off. Then you put your main length of air hose into the tank and attach it to an air stone or similar device.You can also split the pump air supply using a splitter valve to two or more air stone. I tried this at first but it only works on max 2 air stones. Beyond that it doesn't enough power.So as a result, I have mine attached to a small (4") air wall. Which is like an elongated airstone that you bury in the gravel near the back of the tank.

This is the larger pump in the interpet series. While the AP1 and AP2 work for small and medium tanks, this is the pump for medium large tanks.I have two interpet products and would describe them as the Hyundai or Kia of the filter and pump world. Not as nice to drive as a VW or Audi but do the job and reliable mostly. Prices tend to be quite a lot less than prestige brandsTo set it up you connect a small piece of air hose to the outlet. Using this item in my 125 Litre 33 gallon aquarium on a Dinosaur moving head ornament but I can confirm the including air-stone and standard airline work perfect and are the quality you would expect from Interpet. Very quiet you can hardly hear it all you can hear is a slight vibration my Fluval 206 canister filter makes more noise than the air pump which is amazing! It also has great airflow for the size and rating.Using this to replace my Eheim 200 which literally fell apart a week after buying it, it started rattling then the front unit fell from the back casing. I wish I brought this little pump in the first place it's 10 times quieter and feels a lot better built!For anybody considering buying this go for it,

I bought a Tetratec APS50 from my local jollyes shop and I quickly returned it because it was noisy. Ordered this Interpet Aqua Air Mini Pump here on amazon and it got delivered next day... thanks amazon.I have to say this unit is less noisier than the Tetratec, but it pumps lesser air. It is smaller too. I will just keep this unit and hope it will not break quickly.The unit comes with an air tubing and an air stone but no airflow control valve, the Tetratec did come with one.One reviewer on here says he had used the unit for years and also have changed parts. Parts seem to be more than 50% of the unit's price so I think it is better to buy a new unit once this one breaks.

Recently one of my goldfish who lives in a pond fell ill. The medication I needed to cure my fish would have killed the beneficial bacteria in the filter so I was obliged to set up hospital tanks indoors. In order to make sure that the tanks were properly aerated I bought the AP4 aquarium air pump. It has two outlets so I had the option of using both outlets to pump air into one tank or one outlet per tank. Either way the AP4 did the job well. The hospital tanks each had a 60 litres capacity which was well within the power of the pump.

We have this linked up to a Fish Pod and an airstone for our 3 goldfish and it does what it says on the 'tin', has been super reliable for a couple of years, done some maint. on it from time to time but otherwise seems to be great. We had iot behind the aquarium on the wooden top but from time to time it would vibrate so have put a thin towel underneath it now instead and thats done the trick.I am not sure what the other reviewer meant when he said it came with extras though, we got what it said in the description.

We have used the aqua air mini in our goldfish tank for a few years now, and there has never been an issue with it, quiet with only the hint of a hum and no blockages. Yes you need to replace parts on it from time to time like anything and its always best to run an air pump "MOT" once a year, but with all the parts and spares on Amazon we have got everything from one place and cant complain at all, great :)

We have one of these in the office connected to an airstone and into a Fish Pod 64, and has been next to mine and a colleagues desk for over a year with no problems at all, just make sure it doesnt touch the wall or anything then it could vibrate perhaps. Great product from an everyday user

It does the job but the one i had before buying the one i got today ( due to the other breaking ) its alot louder and isnt producing as much air not sure why but it does the job and luckily my tvs volume can compete against the noise from the pump

High quality air pump producing great air and reasonably quiet. Only downside I have found is the look of the air pump is very ugly! Fixing this "design flaw" could produce more sales. Other than that, great product.

Had one of these for many years but felt it had lost power.I was right! The new one runs a couple of air stones I thought were worn out.Repair kits are available for these so I might try and revive the old one now.

Great air pump and includes a great airstone and airline too. Very quiet and reliable. It doesn't include a check valve but I recommend getting one as would anyone getting an air pump. Quick delivery too.

Best air pump I have had. Gives plenty of air to my new bubble maker. Sits on the side and does not move. Hums a bit but they do. Excellent choice recommended if you want a powerful pump.

Very good purchase, it is what I expected for the price, all pumps for this price and size will make a humming noise its just a matter of finding the best position for it.
