Excellent build quality, although I wasn’t expecting it to be so small. Switches a little fiddly and if you use stiff interconnects a little difficult to position the unit without it constantly moving. And beware, it runs quite hot!! Sound wise the 3 valve settings do have a small effect on sound quality adding a little valve type warmth but it is not a night and day difference and perhaps not a cure for overall system brightness. The extra bass setting can make a difference to a set up with small speakers but I left it off as I have floorstanders. Similarly with the 3D setting. Extra space sure but it didn’t sound natural to me. Maybe of worth if your speakers are close together or you’re using on a computer.
