I am a big fan of merino and the majority of the tops I use for hill running and hiking are 100% merino or a merino blend.I was a little fed up of wearing a comfortable, warm when wet yet breathable and fast drying top, yet be wearing a sports bra made of a lower quality synthetic fabric underneath. So I decided to get a merino sports bra. I bought the long version of the Meld Zone first and I have been very please with it, yet the long length / extra fabric made me view the long version more as a winter item. This short version seems great for summer low pace or high pace activities. I have quite a small bust (between an A and a B) and this is supportive enough for me when running.
