Having asked about how see through these were I got two answers with opposite views. Having tried them out, I can see why. Where the material is thinnest there is a certain opacity, but overall it is a decently solid garment. It fits snugly, was warm enough in a cold wind (Spring cold in Scotland, not harsh winter wind) but I think I better understand how women feel wearing tights. The material tends to slide down with running, although the elastic waist is good enough that this doesn't become a legal hazard! It did mean, however, that I felt the need to pull the leggings up a few times as the stretch was making some of the more northerly anatomy more obvious!

Fine laying of good quality. Is sufficiently warm for walks when it is below zero degrees. Fit is as expected, is not bigger / smaller. After you have had the laying on for a while, it may be that the fabric is looser, but not very much.

Extremely comfortable and warm leggins. Provides adequate warmth when outdoors during cold winter days in Finland. The most comfortable baselayer I've ever worn, well worth the money. Fits true to size.

Used on EBC trek in March - very comfortable and warm, best bit was that they didn't smell unlike other thermo/base layers.

The pants are quite thin and light and provides a warm extra layer in the cold. Can recommend.
