This is the only harness I have found to be completely escape proof.The third strap will not allow the harness to come up over the ribs and over the head.Two of my dogs can sometimes panic, twisting , turning and basically backing out at speed all other harness's.I have a Miniature Pinscher, Jack Russel and English Toy Terrier all slim small heads and good escape artist. I had a few near misses in busy roads and its not the time to find out they can get out if they pull backwards.!!!!This harness is brilliant, it takes a little time to get it adjusted at each point to be comfortable and not to loose but well worth the time and effort to keep them safe and have peace of mind of them ever escaping again.Good quality and strong,

I have a cross pug who is very good at escaping ever harness I bought her ....until the Hunter escape proof harness ? Now I can take her out with confidence

My 1 year old pup has a habit of getting out of harnesses BUT not this one so PERFECT if you have an escape artist.
