I have dropped the rating by one star after being misled by the size descriptions and having to return a purchase for a bigger size.Amazon sell the HUNTER Alu Strong Dog Collar mostly in three common sizes. These are:15 x 2.2 x 1 cms 52 gms17 x 2.5 x 1 cms 77 gms21.2 x 3 x 1 cms 110 gmsThe only meaningful measure is the second figure in each, which is the width of the buckle (approx 0.7 cm wider than the nylon collar).Different web pages variously describe these sizes as "Small", "Medium" and "Large"; but this is used inconsistently from one web page to another and therefore very misleading. The actual size being sold may not be the one you think.For example "Large" is the biggest of the 3 on

Really love the colour and wide range of adjustment for the size. I was concerned about the clip because my dog does often pull on the leash abruptly (Beagle finding food) but the lock has stayed in place. I owned a red version prior which I have washed in the washing machine twice a week after my dog has come home from doggy daycare and several poop rolling sessions. That's another feature I love, I can stick them in the washing machine without losing quality or having a smelly dog collar. Like with clothing, after many cycles in the washing machine the colour eventually fades but that isn't an issue of the product.

Great quality item, I have had Hunter collars before so specifically chose this brand. The silver clasp is very smart but after allot of wear and tear does tend to get scratched due to nature of the metal but this is to be expected, but overall it's a smart collar, well made with good quality material so worth the money (felt the deliver charges maybe a little on high side however it still worked out best value and cheapest)

Lovely collar, got the medium one and it is JUST big enough to fit my smallish Labrador. It's quite narrow for the length it can achieve, which looks a bit silly on a larger dog. If i was to order again I would maybe go for the larger size.

Strong and fast buckle. We have a jack russell who pulls very hard on a lead more or less constantly so I was concerned as to how well this would hold up. No worries here though and the quality is excellent.

Bought the collar, lead and matching harness. Love the Hunter stuff, great price, fits well and looks stylish. Bought collar in small size for Henry who’s a border terrier. Delivered quickly. Recommend!

Great dog collar, build quality is far beyond anything we’ve purchased before and the metal clasp/buckle gives it a high standard of finish. We chose the “large” size and it is perfect for our Labrador

Outstanding collar.......as a retired Army Officer who Commanded Military Working Dogs on Operations, I can safely say this is one of the best I have used. A great product and very effective.

Great collar, seems very well made, easy to adjust and snap on and off. We bought the large for our dogs 46cm neck. It fitted easy with plenty of adjustment either side of this.

Looks really smart on my big dog, nice bright red and a shiny clasp.The clasp clicks home nicely when you put it on too.This is our third of these, I really like them.

She‘S had one of these collars for about four/five years but it was shabby after many washes. The metal clasp is much easier to fasten and undo than plastic ones.

Secound Hunter product I have and this along with the other just ooozes class and quality. Most probably won’t notice but it is just quality

aluminium clip stops other dog taking the collar off and chewing it, does loosen a bit when dogs play. Does the job
