For those like like to print photographs at home, I think this printer is the ideal choice. One will of course be cautious of the amount of ink being used to print-off a single image and will no doubt deter people from using it on a permanent basis but in a way it defeats the object and to sell the dream of buying a photo-printer because it uses up all of the INK - Possibly HP should give 3 years of free ink with this printer instead of 1 year! With this said I only use the HP to print.documents

Wanted a new printer as our Epson was old and not quick on WiFi. The HP Envy is a great all in one printer with exceptional printing definition on all documents, photos included. The 2 drawers make it simple to keep normal A4 paper and photo paper, negating the need to keep swapping it out. The printer manages its own power so you don't need to keep switching it on and off. Wireless printing is immediate. And the free 12 months ink is going to save us a lot of money!! Recommend this to everyone!

Printer is good, easy enough to setup, quality is as expected from HP. It's a little bigger than you might imagine.The boxed-in paper tray keeps the dust off the paper. What wasn't so good was the advertising from Argos on what comes free - it's advertised as 12 months free ink but actually, that's not what I got. I got 3 months free plus a £4 voucher inside the box. I had to contact HP to get this sorted (which they did), but seems to be a frustration for many people based on the feedback.

I have been pleasantly surprised by the ease of use with this product! Plugged it in, put the ink in, connected to the wireless, downloaded the app for my Android phone and Apple computer, and away I went!Printing is easy, it's all wireless which never fails to amaze me. The Instant Ink seems really clever too - I've received my first additional pack but no need to use it yet, and they say that the subscription doesn't kick in until that first new pack is installed. All highly recommended.

My old printer died, this was the best option. The old printer was slow and ink expensive. The new scanner was easy to set up, although having to download an app to each device was odd at first. I had the same experience with others as regards the 12 month ink supply, but this was resolved when I forwarded the email receipt stating 12 months to HP. Print speed is far better, the print quality the same or better. My first shipment of ink has arrived safely. I'm very happy wth this purchase.

I bought this printer to replace my old HP Envy (it was over 4 years old, and would probably still be going if we hadn’t piled heavy stuff on top of it!). This one works just as well - fast and efficient. I rang the HP help line, who talked me through the set up, and applied the 3 month free printing that came in the box to my existing account. When I mentioned that the offer on the website was for 12 free months, I just had to send them a screenshot, and they honoured the offer. Great scheme!

Found this really tricky to connect to my iPhone even with the print it yourself set up instructions,I gave up and connected it to my computer which was very easy, it is a nice solid printer although quite large but then it does everything you would need from photo printing to photo copying. It’s a good quality print on both the photo paper and copy paper the ink is nice and crisp. Not too noisy, ink cartridges are very easy to install. It has a touch screen panel which is very easy to follow.

Very easy to set up however during the process I wasn't directed to the correct app a couple of times but was able to find it in the app store no problem.I have had an issue with the automatic ink supply because of the current situation so it may be wise to buy a spare colour when getting the printer.Photos are printed well but you need to make sure that you have taken a good look at the photo you wish to print first as I found I needed to adjust the lightness of them as they printed out dark

Like many people I needed a printer at home during the lockdown and by the time I decided that most were sold out. I found this one and it was significantly more than I wanted but it did come with free ink for a year so I decided to get it. It is bigger than I expected but still pretty compact. Setting the printer up is really easy, unless you have a mac that is, in which case it is insanely complicated to get it to print from your mac, but it is super easy to get it to print from your phone.

Decided on buying an HP printer on recommendation from my cousin, .and I’ve got to say that so far the advice has proven to be good. The printer was very easy to set up and along with the HP Smart app, it’s a joy to use. The printer came with a 3 months trial of their instant and on top of that, inside the box was a further voucher which extended that free trial to 12 months so happy days. Just started to use the printer when the first new set of ink tanks came through the door. Recommended

Really pleased with this printer. Replaced an older model and this was closest to it. Sturdy printer. Print quality and speed is good. Even photos come out well. So far not used much ink, although signed up to Instant Ink and have received first batch. Set up was easy. One of our laptops would not find the driver etc, but the helpdesk were fab and set it up. Would recommend this printer, as support has been excellent. Also was on offer with £32 Instant Ink and £30 cash back, so a bargain too.

I am really pleased with this printer. It is so easy to use and set up. And yet still has alot of features on it that I have never had before. It is well worth the money. And is very good quality too. I have never purchased an HP item before . But after buying this I will definitely use more technology from this make. I cannot recommend this item enough. And due to being very useless when it comes to technical machines,since it is easy for me to use and work with. Anybody else can do it too.

So impressed with this printer. Bought it when lockdown started and needed for homeschooling. The ink offer drew me to this offer when setting up (which was also easy) it only offered 3 months ink but this was rectified after I called HP. HP customer service are brilliant and I ended up getting 19 months free prints! Perfect! Very good printing quality also. As soon as ink is near finishing it notifies HP and a new one is sent via post. Couldn’t be easier, especially in these circumstances.

My favourite thing about this printer is that the paper is stored in an internal tray, so no paper sticking out, getting crumpled and dusty! Print quality is great and. I didn’t find set up especially easy as it seemed to stall at one point and I had to guess what to do next. In the end I did the infamous ‘turn it off and on again’ and then everything was fine. I have a laptop, chrome book, mobile and iPad connected to it and love being able to print from any of them anywhere in the house.

The settings took about 10 minutes with the software update. Knowing the basics of using devices, you can make settings without manual guid. I am very satisfied with the print quality of the text. With a small font, the words are very legible and the image sharp without blurring. Photos printed on A4 paper come out medium (slightly faded colors and the page is wet so it deforms slightly when drying out) but if we use photo paper, the photos come out almost like a professional photographer.
