First thing, before you buy this, make sure you realise how big it is. Other reviewers will have mentioned it but it's worth repeating, this thing is really, really big. And, once it's built, you won't really want to take it apart again, and although the box it comes in is huge, you're really not going to get it back in again. Once you build this, be aware it's a long term thing. It's staying up.Assembly is fairly lengthy, but straightforward, with a clear manual with pictograms on how everything goes together. No tools are needed except a philips screwdriver to put the four D-size batteries in, and the rest just clicks together.Once you've spent the 30 minutes or so it takes to set up,(and answering 'can I play with it yet?' questions every five seconds) you're ready to go.It's pretty awesome, and to be honest I'm quite jealous that this didn't exist when I was a child. If it's huge to me as an adult, to a seven year old it looks insanely massive. There are six levels to play with, and a spiral lift to take your cars up to the top automatically. The top level has an aeroplane that can unclip and carry cars inside, and there is a starter to allow racing down the spiral - you press a button and two cars release together and race each other down the track. At the bottom a trapdoor mechanism flips the loser off the track. It's the best part of the set and really fun. The spiral lift then takes the winner back to the top, unless the gorilla decides to knock it off. My test kids found the gorilla just annoying, and it's quite easy to take it off if you decide you don't like it. The starting grid can also be locked open, to create an endless spiral of cars - they race to the bottom, the lift takes them back up, and they run straight back down again.Of note is that there are two lifts on this toy, the automatic spiral one, and a 'manual' one that you lift up yourself. This is quite a nice touch as it means you can keep playing even if the batteries die, and as the spiral is quite noisy you can 'accidentally' take the batteries out without spoiling anyone's play. The other levels all need a bit of imagination, which is a good thing. One level has a turntable that you turn, and that activates 'robots' that 'repair' (or build) the cars as they turn underneath. The next few levels are for 'parking' and the bottom level has a petrol station and a police station, and a 'jail'. There is plenty here for small imaginations to get fired up about, and lots of room for all sorts of scenarios. There are also connections to allow you to attach even more Hotwheels tracks to, so you (or your child!) can truly create some incredible layouts, and even more room for imaginations to grow.As this set will probably be set up and left set up it's good that it also doubles as a display area. You can park well over 100 cars in this garage, which makes putting the cars away tidily part of the play, rather than a chore. The garage does look rather splendid with a complement of toy cars parked all over it, but it does mean you will want more than the four cars supplied with the set.So, if you have the space for it, this is a really wonderful toy. It's encouraging lots of imaginative play and as long as you don't object to it's essential plasticness it's genuinely impressive. It's well built, and (so far) has lots of replay potential. Recommended and lots of fun for both children, and child-at-heart dads.

This is absolutely the pinnacle of Hot Wheels fun, without a doubt. It’s a garage, race track and motorised lift and so much more, on a massive scale that I have never seen before. My son was so excited when he saw it that he could hardly speak. A nearly 4 year old losing the power of speech says just how amazing this garage is.We have a large collection of Hot Wheels cars, track and sets already, so this garage is a great place to put all the cars as it has a massive storage capacity. You ideally do need quite a number of cars in order for this garage to look the part, with them all neatly in their spaces. It’s a bit like a display cabinet for Hot Wheels actually, you can have your very favourites out on display, which makes it a lot easier to find them than when they’re all being stored in a plastic box. It’s absolutely massive, that’s the first point to mention. You’ll need a decent amount of space to set it up, and it’s not exactly easy to pop it away on a shelf, so we just have ours free-standing in our lounge. The second point to mention, is to build it while your child is asleep, unless you really enjoy a super-excited, trying-to-help-but-making-it-harder child getting involved in the building process. We watched some videos on YouTube to see the quickest and best way to assemble the garage, which really helped us cut the build time to about 20 minutes. With our sone getting involved it probably would have taken at least double that. The materials and design of this garage are exactly what you’d expect from a leading brand like Hot Wheels, everything fits together nicely, the materials are tough and hard wearing, the design is very clever and the overall garage package is pretty awesome.Yes, it’s expensive at full price, but on a deal it’s well worth the investment, especially as at least three of four children can play with this garage at one time, so it’s great for parties or groups too.5 stars

My Son has a few Hot Wheels sets and tons of their cars but nothing even close to how big this Super Ultimate Garage is and again like others, despite reading it was big I was still shocked when it arrived. To give you an idea of how much space you will need to hide this I can confirm that the box is 76cm wide, 21cm deep and 88cm high and so you do need somewhere to stash this if buying for a Christmas or Birthday present and this isn't one of those toys where it has loads of unused space as inside is crammed to fit everything in.The garage does need some assembly but its easy to do and comes with instructions.Another happy fact is that despite there being some stickers to attach there is only 8 to put on the set and so you won't need to be sat for hours on Christmas Eve or Day attaching them like we have had to do with other toys in the past.Once assembled the garage really is big and there is so much to keep your child entertained including a motorised lift with an angry Gorilla that tries to swipe the cars off of it, a race track which is split to allow two cars to race at the same time, multiple parking and storage spaces (apparently over 140 but even though my Son has lots of Hot Wheels cars we haven't got the full 140), a plane that holds two cars and clicks onto the top and the garage even comes with 4 cars incase your child hasn't already got some so that it is ready to play with straight away. One thing to point out is that some cars won't fit on the lift as they will either be too long or too fat but the majority of my Sons cars do.The set has connection points where you can connect other Hot Wheels tracks and sets to it and so it really can be expanded providing you have the room.An absolutely brilliant Hot Wheels set and my Son loves his.

This Hot wheel ultimate garage is huge! 3 feet high with a large floor footprint too match. This really is the ultimate garage for the Hot Wheels fan.It has storage for 140 cars, 6 floors of parking space. A motorised corkscrew elevator, enabling cars to go up to the side by side race track! A king Kong style gorilla hooks into the elevator allowing it to climb the tall garage. There is a landing pad for the large aircraft that can carry cars. Playzones within the garage include a police lock up, a carwash, a tune up area and full connectivity too other hot wheels sets you may have.If you have a Hot Wheels fan in the house this set is amazing. I love the features and the endless hours of fun it provides. With a little imagination you have giant planes fighting a large kong type gorilla, and with all the interactive play areas on this garage its superb.Only 3 potential negatives for me . It takes up a hefty bit of floor real estate once you have pieced together the behemoth. Setup also took time, as for obvious reason it arrives in its large box flat packed. Although you get the large plane and gorilla, for a garage that hold 140 cars they only give you 4, which was disappointingOverall I loved it and so did the kids. I thought, rather than strange, the gorilla was a fun addition and the plane gave hours of crazy fun too. So if you have the room at home this is an awesome play set.

The first thing to say about this is that it is big. It lives up to the Super Ultimate label. You'll need a decent bit of floor space to house it and give the kids enough room to play around it. Think of it as requiring a similar space to a typical breakfast table and you'll be in the right area. It's also quite heavy and the box it comes in is large and cumbersome. There are 5 levels with interconnecting ramps. Batteries power a corkscrew elevator in one corner which lifts the cars up between levels. You control which levels they can exit on to by a number of gates and, from the top level, a large spiral ramp zooms them down to the bottom again. For some reason,a large gorilla clings on to the side by the corkscrew lift and tries to knock the cars off.My six year old and even my eleven year old have had hours of fun playing with this, inventing stories and adventures around it and connecting other Hot Wheels products up to the various exits. We have found the corkscrew lift can jam if certain Hot Wheels cars are used in it so you need to be ready to turn the lift off and extricate the stuck vehicle. But that's a minor issue. It is one of those toys that impresses through its sheer size and which gives them a big 'Wow' moment whenever they return to it.#####

My wee boy is hotwheels daft and had the other garage. This was on his Santa list this Christmas and was hard to find in the UK. After building one of these before I am a master at building the garages so put it together in no time at all after sourcing some size D batteries at 9.30pm on Christmas Eve! I had totally overlooked the batteries. Anyway I got it together in pretty much no time as the instructions are easy to follow. My little boy is delighted and his pals love coming to play with it. The gorilla is the main attraction however it is very very noisy. The gorilla climbs up the drops down with a loud clatter. After only a few weeks of playing the gorilla stopped working. The spindle but that pulls the gorilla up was still working but the gorilla wouldn’t leave the bottom. I had to ask my brother to look at it and he had to take the gorilla off and superglue a bit of it. So far (touch wood) it is still working. If the gorilla hadn’t been fixed it would have been game over for this garage. You also need to watch the size of cars that are used on it. It needs to be the thinner sporty ones. The bigger ones get caught up in the spindle and jam it so it this was to happen a lot I’m sure it would only be a matter of time before the motor went

After reading all the reviews, I still didn't realise how big this thing would be... it's huge!it covers the base and five additional levels, all of which are access from the lift which takes 2 D batteries. The lift is essentially a spiral that turns and pushes the cars up, and there's flaps at the back of the lift you can open to allow the cars to exit at that level.Level 1,2,3 are just plain parking levels, level 4 is a cleaning/garage station, and the top level has a space ship/aeroplane that can carry two cars.Ramps down are from levels 5 and 4.One of the ramps is quite low so taller cars will get stuck. When they get down to the bottom, a random car may be flicked off,or they continue back to the lift.A random 'king kong' climbs the lift and will throw cars off at times, then absolutely slams back down to the bottom once it hits the top. He does hit a rubber piece, so fingers shouldn't get too damaged, but we've taken the monkey off for now as it kept catching my son.The blue towers can also store cars, so you can store well over 100 vehicles on this! Finally, you can connect hotwheels track pieces to many points, front, back and on the parking bays.Hours of fun, and the most played with toy from Christmas without doubt.

This is an absolute beast! Have a good look at the pictures, check the dimensions and measure the floor space of where this is going to go at home before you purchase as it can dominate the space if it’s not going in a huge room.Once you’re happy with that this is a brilliant garage, packed with features. It comes with 4 cars but is obviously a great gift for someone who already has a decent collection. It can hold over 140 cars. The motorised element is like a corkscrew which can lift cars to the top of the garage. This section also has the climbing gorilla which gets taken up by the corkscrew motion and then falls down to bottom again when it reaches the top. There’s a plane and landing pad at the top, with the plane able to take two cars in its cargo hold. And the ramp down the garage is also a two car raceway so there are plenty of ways to have fun.In fact the size of it means that it could keep a few kids amused without competing for space. Perfect for a play date. The corkscrew is quite noisy and the size might make it too big for some but despite the price tag it actually offers pretty good value for money.

The first thing that strikes you about this toy is just how big it is, even the box it comes in is large. It really is huge, so if you’re thinking of buying it, make sure you have the space for it (ie a playroom or spare room) as it isn’t something that can be easily tucked away or taken apart! It also takes some time to put together simply because of its size.It is very expensive but there is a lot to it so I think it mostly warrants the price. As it is so huge, I think 2 or 3 children could easily play with it (without arguing about the space!) so that’s a plus.It is fairly solidly built, but we found that some of the cars got stuck in the lift, but other than this it seems to work as it should and it was fairly simple to put together (though it did take two of us). The lift is noisy so I’d recommend not leaving it to close to bedrooms! All in all I’d give this product 4 stars as I think it could be more reasonably priced and the lift could be quieter.

This Hot Wheels 6 -storey garage is absolutely massive! The box is huge and once you have assembled it, it will require its own corner in the room. It is not difficult to assemble but this is definitely a job for the adults. If you are getting this as a gift, make sure you order 4xD batteries for the car lift. The toy comes with 4 Hot Wheels cars, an airplane that fits two cars and a gorilla figure. You can play multiple scenarios using the side-by-side-racetrack, elevator, car wash, tune up shop and police station. What is really cool about this garage is that it connects to other Hot Wheels sets so you can expand it if you want. Also, you can play with other small cars from different brands as they also fit onto the garage. In total, you can have 140!! cars in there. If your kids have tons of cars lying around, this will actually help to keep some sort of tidiness. I love it, felt a bit sad giving it to my nephews.

My son said 'that is the biggest garage I have ever seen'. To be honest, apart from the real thing, this is probably the largest toy garage I have ever seen as well. It stands over a meter tall, has a large gorilla and a jumbo jet as some of its accessories. It holds well over 100 cars, and we only had about 50 so I am now under pressure to help my son fill his garage.Overall footprint is quite large, so be prepared for the fact that you will not be able to tuck this under a bed when not in use. It didn't take long to construct, probably about half an hour. From a playability perspective, this is excellent - there are so many things to do. From the simple, let the car slide down the slope,to a corkscrew lift which is motorised. My son has played with this on lots of occasions so far, and interest does not seem to be waning as yet. This is an awesome boy's toy provided you have the space for it.

This Hot Wheels FDF25 City Toy Garage is absolutely enormous. The box that it comes in is very large indeed. If you are planning this as a Christmas present you will need to find a very good hiding place for it, and it definitely won't fit under the tree. Inside, you get so many pieces, and to put it all together takes a while, but once it is all together it is very impressive. It stands at around three feet tall and does take up quite a lot of floor space, and even more if you add too it. Included in the set are four hot wheels cars, a plane and a climbing gorilla! It really is so much fun to plan with and is even better if you have more cars. The motorised elevator and the sound effects require four batteries to operate, which aren't included. This is an amazing toy set, just watch out for the descending gorilla.

OMG this is huge-my son loves it!!! It stores approximately 140 hot wheels cars and had a number of different features including the monkey that climbs up the side of the garage. It is quite noisy and eats batteries. However, well worth the noise to see the enjoyment on my sons face when he’s playing with this.

Happy with the item but be warned it doesn’t come covered up so when it was delivered my son saw what was in the box!!! Bit annoying considering it’s for Xmas! So either get it gift wrapped or make sure your kids are in school when it’s delivered

Although this was purchased used it was only the box that was damaged and the actual toy was perfect. My son plays on it every day with his sisters, an absolute bargain.
