See VIDEO review attached!!!This went down a storm with my boys 3 and 8. They spent about twenty minutes watching me set it up (the build takes about five minutes to ten minutes, the rest is applying the bloomin stickers)And then the next hour playing. They found it thrilling.They fought over the two supplied monster trucks. Admittedly, one is considerably less cool. One is die cast and one is plasticky.The game requires patience, skill and determination. My youngest enjoyed it but wasn't successful. My five year old got it with practice.Basically they have to shoot their monster truck into the arena off a ramp. The monster truck has to land on a button in the centre.

This Hot Wheels Monster Truck playset has it all. Crashing, Smashing and a giant Shark to attack the loser!After a bit of assembly, the playset basically allows players to compete and see which Monster Truck can be fired into the air at each other and land in the trophy cup. But there's only room for one winner and the loser falls down and gets attacked by a giant shark.The playset itself is made from plastic, it snaps together fairly easily - but doesn't always seem to stay snapped together properly. The set comes with two Hot Wheel monster trucks to use. One of them is really nice - made of metal etc and is of your typical Hot Wheels quality. The second truck is made of plastic and feels really cheap.

Easy to assemble, 10 minutes and that was with 2x eager 5yr olds loitering and "trying to help" & attaching 10 or so stickers to help with the finished effect.All plastic, mechanical workings so no batteries - a nice feature these days. 2x Monster truck style cars included, although not the usual Hot Wheels detailed metal cars, one was with a very cheap looking plastic body, the other being slightly better and more expensive looking, ut still not the quality I was expecting. Incidentally, other Hot Wheels cars work with the "game" just as well.The actual "game" requires 2x people ideally, trying to get their vehicle to the cup in the centre, with the other hopefully falling into the ring and being swept out by the rotating Shark head,

This is a simple game. Load the truck onto the launcher, slam your fist on the lever and this fires the truck into the shark pit. One of the trucks will land on the safe platform and the other will be pushed into the shark pit. This triggers the shark to spin around and appear to eat the truck, in reality pushing it out. Most of the time it works, but all of the time it pleases our little monster truck fan. There is space for spectator trucks or hot wheels cars. The whole thing is quite robust and has taken quite a hammering. Occasionally a pice falls off, but it just clips back into place.Ours came with a standard Hot Wheels monster Jam 1:64 truck and an all plastic truck,

Well our grandson and his two friends all enjoy the Hot Wheels toys and are always playing with the various cars, trucks and lorries they all have. They seem to have been particularly taken with this Monster Trucks Giant Mechanized Shark Nemesis toy. I don't claim to quite understand the thrill of it but then again I'm not 9 years old. The trucks, along with other Hot Wheels vehicles they have, all get thrown around trying to avoid fall into the sharks jaws is about as best as I can describe the toy. Other than to say its all very well made and robust (they've been rigorously playing with it daily for over a week now and nothing has broken),

This is a hot wheels set that can be put together and played with straight out of the box, it comes with two monster trucks so can be played with as it comes.Easy to set up and is a solid build. It has a mechanical function where the shark sweeps the trucks but does not require batteries (which is a bonus).Our 6 year loves this, it has provided hours of play and is also played with alongside other hot wheels cars/trucks and sets.The stickers that came with this set were however not as good quality as we have come to expect from hot wheels. The top layer of the stickers peeled away within the first play, which makes the toy look a bit shabby now.Overall, a great toy and fun design!

We couldn't wait to get this out to play with and found it very quick and easy to put together, my only real gripe is that it doesn't always hold together meaning some quick snaps to put it back together so although it can stop play it's not for long.The set plays well and is good fun and I'm even happy playing with it with them as it caused alot of fun and giggles. Great to play with on its own but even better to add to the story like we did and bring in other sets we own. Well Worth the money as I feel It represents good value.

This is a nice set that we took to amuse or great grandchildren when they come to visit. It did not take too long to set up although we did wonder how strong th e the snap parts wreathe idea is that the two monster trucks(which are supplied) fight the shark presumably for the trophy. It was well made and brightly coloured and seems very promising. In fact it was so good we decided to save for christmas. I must say it was easier taking it out of the box that was to put back. Still we did like it very much

Super hotwheels set fot the kids, lots of fun and action for what is a well made and exciting set to add to your collection. There are two monster trucks provided, a nice metal truck and a plastic (I guess) second rate truck which is basically the one you want the shark to get. For us adults, the best bit is it doesn't require batteries and there are no blinking lights or repeating noises. All in all its a really good play set either as a standalone or to connect to others.

Hot Wheels have come up with another winner here. Not only is it 'Stand Alone'- in that you can get it up and running straight out of the box, without batteries, but it also comes with two trucks so the youngsters can get on with it! Plus, it's got giant Shark jaws, and next to a dinosaur, a shark's snappers are a decent runner-up. All in all, I can see this being a big hit for Christmas 2019 - and for a thrills to spends ratio, it's good value for money.

I love the shark in this. We’ve had similar sets from the City Range of regular Hot Wheels so getting a monster truck version is fab! Our son loves it and the fact it comes with a couple of monster trucks is a bonus although one of them is proper metallic die but while the other is a cheap plastic truck for some reason. It’s easy to assemble although the stickers are a bit disappointing, not batteries required as it’s just mechanical.

We have a lot of Monster Jam toys, it’s great to see more being made for the UK! This set is great fun but not something that kept my sons attention for more than 10 mins. It’s repetitive and gets abit boring. The shark doesn’t always get set off by the middle section, so has to be forced, but great addition to just the monster trucks and sand arena. My sons likes that it can include the hot wheels cars too!

This review is for the hotwheels monster truck FYk14.The product arrived well packaged and on time.This is a great addition to the monster truck hotwheels sets. My som has a few monster trucks now and this is a great toy to use them on. It creates a little competition between the trucks and is great fun.Would recommend for the price. Good quality and build as would be expected by hotwheels!

Perfect for my 4 year old, hell love this for his birthday, he's quite heavy handed and likes typical boys toys, quite heavy handed and I think this will be sturdy for him to use whilst being lots of fun, great addition to all the other sets he has.

Brilliant hot wheels set. The kids love it. Very well built and well designed. Great for any hot wheels fab to add to there collection.
