When this garage arrives you need to be ready to roll your sleeves up and spend a good bit of time putting it all together. It comes in lots of parts and does take a while to get it fully completed and once you do be warned it is enormous! If space is at a premium in your home then this is probably not the toy for you as it will not fold up in any way! It is tall and long but not overly deep so will sit against a wall quite well, but it is still big!!Once we had managed to assemble the garage our son had a wonderful time figuring out how to play with it, using the lift, whizzing the cars through, parking them up. He absolutely loves it. One big thing to note though is that it is pretty noisy. The lever you pull to release the cars and send them flying round the loop the loop is extremely loud. We have this toy in our sons room now and can hear when he is playing with it downstairs. Make sure you place the toy on a completely flat surface though, we managed to get a toy wedged underneath it at one point and thought the lever to propel the cars was broken - it wasn't, it just needed to be on a flat surface! The garage itself is well made and sturdy once it is complete and we have found it simple to operate. It is bright and colourful and has loads of storage space for toy cars which is a big bonus. If your child has a big collection of cars you can park them all up in the mega garage and then play with them. This ability to store inside it helps to alleviate some of the issues which come with it being so large!Price wise this is no small investment but it does have longevity as a toy (ours is played with by our six year old regularly) and it not flimsy at all. Some reviews have mentioned it being easy to break, we have not found this and have been pretty rough with ours but it is worth considering. I would say it is a bit expensive for what it is, particularly at the full RRP but if you have a child who loves their cars and will use it then it is a reasonable investment.Overall this is a good fun toy which should last a decent amount of time.

My son has been playing with this for a few days now along with his little sister and they both absolutely love it. It's a huge and really impressive set with optional add ons that can develop into a room filling extravaganza!I'll focus on the actual product itself rather than any potential add ons - safe to say that this could be the centre-piece of a much larger set with lots of compatible hot wheels tracks and sets that can connect to it.This is essentially a combination of two classic toys from my own childhood, the multi-story fisher price carpark with a lift to take the cars to the top and the bendy tracks that you used to clamp onto a table or other tall object and run cars down. There's so many cool features in this really tall and imposing sized toy.The lift that runs up the left hand side can be stopped to park an incredible number of cars (the set just comes with 2 so there's plenty more to be added in out of existing or new collections), at the top of the lift the cars set off down a steep ramp with a drop section which is fun to see if they can survive and make the landing. There's a cool launch mechanism that sends the cars shooting round the loop the loop and an amazing shark attack which is great fun watching the cars go through.Without any add ons then the cars just shoot out onto the floor which is more fun if you have it on a hard floor surface, or as mentioned you can add additional track for them to then move onto other sections - a bit like a train set. There's stacks of other little details like car ramps and mechanical arms for playing imaginary repair games, a petrol pumps section for "refuelling" and a nice open air parking section on the top. This is an impressive toy in its own right but will also lend itself to being the centre of future gifts of additional cars and sets which are all relatively inexpensive so it's a toy with plenty of "mileage"

My 4 year old son loves this giant car garage - its got tonnes of features to keep him busy, from the multi-level parking areas on each side, to the tune-up and car wash area at the bottom, to the mechanical, self powering car lift and of course the massive loop the loop car race game in the middle. It's made with great attention to detail and thoughtful design, and in bright, colourful, good quality plastics.A word of caution, if you have children who get easily alarmed by sudden noises: On the very first time we tried the loop the loop (where there is a big spring-powered lever to put down and release the cars) it made quite a noisy 'twang' sound and the cars shot round the loop very fast and it scared my son,who is very sensitive to noises. It took quite a bit of persuasion to get him to try it again. He's okay with it now, but still tends to cover his ears with his hands when I do the lever for him.We also found after we had finished building it all, that we had somehow managed to get the car lift inserted incorrectly into the big blue tower, so the car lift didn't travel right to the bottom of the track and the button to release it for the upward journey didn't work. My husband eventually identified that a small plastic tab, part of the blue plastic tower, had been pushed outwards and was blocking the lift. It was fixable, but we had to unclip the blue tower from the base plate to do so, and that meant other bits started disengaging from the tower. Take care when you build yours!Luckily, all the building was done while my son was in bed. Experience has shown me to never attempt a complicated build like this with small people in the same room! Its a great garage, but make sure you have plenty of space too - its really big.5 stars

The two main points to raise with this are the cost and the size.First up, the RRP of £100+ is too much, but the more reasonable price it actually sells for of £50-£70 is much more suitable and if you can pick it up for £50 i'd say it's a bit of a bargain.Next up, the size. This thing is huge with the box roughly a good 4 foot by 4 foot and once assembled it's roughly 2 foot square and about 4 foot high... If you're buying this make sure you have plenty of room because it's not something you'll be getting and putting away regularly.Assembly isn't too painful and despite several moving parts and features it's just a case of clicking things in place without too much room for error(the loop can be a bit of a pain). The garage itself is so impressive with a moving elevator,a pump/ram operated launcher for the loop and a clever switcher to stop two cars ending up on the same track, even teh little repair platform that replicates a factory line with robotic arms moves. No batteries are needed which is another bonus. The only slight niggle is the actual air jump... After 10 attempts I don't think i've had a single car make the jump with most hitting the tunnel like covering and spinning off across the living room floor but that really is nitpicking.Overall, depsit ethe price i'm very impressed with this and expect my little one to get a few years use out of this!

Tip: fit ALL blue support struts first! This is a superb HUGE garage toy. The instructions are a bit minimal, a larger labeled diagram rather than step by step however after a bit of trial and error it took about an hour to assemble. No stickers at all to put on, there needed are already stuck on.The two Hot Wheels cars included look cool and handle the tricks and turn well. No batteries needed simply place a car/cars on the lift to the left. Press a button to release it to go up to the desired level. If it goes right to the top (and little guides set in needed route) the cars will race down the track, shoot over a jump and then come to rest at the launcher for the loop.Next, they can pull the lever to launch the cars to race around the loop to see if they will go through the shark's mouth or straight over. There are LOADS of parking spaces on the grey plastic areas pictured. There are also LOADS of storage places for cars in the main supports to the right and left.It all looks and feels well made and solid. The launcher is quite hard to pull back so children smaller than the suggested age range may struggle to use it independently. The lift feels like it might be the first bit to wear out. It's also fun going through our toy cars to see which work on the loop.A great toy overall that could just do with better assembly instructions is all.

Hot Wheels has been on the Christmas list for children for years. I remember when I was a young child (many, many years ago) receiving Hot Wheels cars and tracks and played with my brother for hours. This particular product is impressively large and and took some time to assemble. Which to be honest is part of the fun and builds up the anticipation to get started. While I was building it my grand children were scouring their toys for any Hot Wheel cars they might have which would go with the two supplied with this garage and to my surprise, there were nine found. If your children have toy cars you could guarantee that some of them will bound to be Hot wheels cars.Like I mentioned this garage is quite big and has enough room for 90 cars. There is a lift, petrol station and maintenance area of the garage including racing ramps and loop. There is also the added danger of a shark on the bottom of the loop to excite the imagination. This is a very good addition to any child’s play time, it is also compatible with other Hot wheel products so potentially the sky’s the limit with add ons over a child’s playtime years.

First I should say I have had quite a few of these hot wheels set ups and many of them have been OK but didnt last long this is the exception. First of all its big! It took a bit to set it up and the instructions to be honest are not the greatest to follow but muddle through and its worth it. Once set up it really does look fantastic. So much to keep the kids occupied really I didnt even realise there was so much to it.There is basically a lift that goes up three floors and when it gets to the top floor the cars flip over and spin down and set ready for you to pull a leaver for it to do a loop through the sharks mouth and end up on the bottom where if you have extra track (Which I do and will now dig out to add to this one)You can make it even bigger.I guess thats one good thing with hot wheels if you do have old track from a previous one you can use it again. The kids absolutely love this and because of they way its built it can be stored as is in a corner of a room but they have had hours of fun with this. I can see it may cost a fair bit but to be honest, this is probably the best set up I have seen.

He saved up for this and I hadn’t looked at the dimensions carefully enough so you do get a lot of car garage for your money. Fortunately it fits under a mid-sleeper bed...just. He has had hours of fun so far and is loving it. The bonus for me - It is storing all the cars that were lying in wait in every room for me to step on.If you are buying for an impatient little one or as a gift you may be better to undertake the construction alone and place the box next to the finished item with a birthday sheet over it. The construction process was well documented and straightforward but not a 5 minute job so care and patience needed but the finished article is sturdy and fun if looked after. We explained the car lift was the delicate point of the garage (having read reviews about this part breaking) as it was a moving part, so he has been good with it and enjoyed showing the older one how to use it!! A great Hot Wheels set but definitely measure up before you order to check the space you need.

Now why normal garages haven't clicked onto this and decided to add sharks to theirs is a mystery but every garage needs a shark now in my Son's opinion and he absolutely loves this set.My Son has quite a few Hot Wheels sets including another massive garage set but apparently this one is cooler because it has the shark and I must admit I can't disagree as the shark popping up in the middle of the garage is a pretty cool idea. The set is really big and although it took a little time to set up it wasn't difficult and my Son has already attached his other Hot Wheels sets to connect to this one in his room.Apart from the obvious highlight of the set for my Son there is also a lift which can fit two cars, multiple car parking spaces, a large jump, loop area and garage section. This set is so much fun and especially if your child has more cars, sets and track to add to it but obviously even by itself it is a super set.

A huge toy garage that requires assembly and arrives packed inside an extra large presentation box. Full assembly instructions are included and though fiddly, the garage isn't too difficult to put together but; it's absolutely huge once built. There are a lot of features here and the garage will accommodate up to 90 cars but; with just 2 cars included you will certainly need many more for the full effect. No batteries are required because there are no light or sound effects and the action is manual including the catapult launchers. One of a range of models that will connect with other toys in the series for even 'bigger' fun. Looks amazing and my grandson, 7 years, loves this garage. For me it needs something more, lights or sounds, and relies too much on size for the 'wow' factor. Make sure you have enough free space at home before you order!.

I bought it as a Christmas gift for my 5 years old son. It arrived on time. I gave it to my son on Christmas Day and he was really excited to see it. We assembled it together. Took around an hour. My son spends hours playing with it and all his friends those come home( boys and girls) enjoy playing with it.It’s value for money as I don’t see the price again at which I bought it.Only issue that see with it is that some of the tracks( less used ones on the right side)don’t fit nicely. The automatic lift doesn’t go up to the top sometimes. May be it’s because of continuous excessive use sometimes. Not all hot wheels cars are compatible with it.They have to be specific weight and size for jumping in to the tunnel and going through the loop after we pull the lever. As a whole happy with the purchase at the price I got it.

This is one of the Hotwheel items on my grandsons Christmas list, it is bigger than I thought and we are well pleased with the size and the quality of the Garage. It gives hours of fun and joy to my grandson and also the other grandsons when they come over, they all played for a couple of hours with the Hotwheel sets and cars. There is so many ways to play on this Garage the video does not do it justice, but it gives you some ideas. The 2 car racing is always a great thing with boys, then the lifts and for my 5 year old grandson it has to be the sharks jaws, he howls with laughter when a car goes through the mouth. The levers to change things so it is a different route etc. keeps them playing for hours.Joining other sets to this is easy and luckily he has a big bedroom to accommodate having most of his sets out.

There is plenty here for kids to play with, and my kids are really enjoying playing with it.Not all the functions work perfectly time after time. We can't quite get the hang of the levered launcher, and our cars often fly off the loop as a result. Also, if we use two cars in the lift, they often get stuck. However, such failings don't seem to diminish the enjoyment of my children, who seem to turn such failings into a game, and actually take amusement from them. The plastic construction seems sufficiently tough, though the launcher pushers look a bit vulnerable. I will update my review if any problems arise.Although the garage took some time to build due to its size,it was a pretty straightforward build. It comes in a large box, which is packed with the parts.Overall, great fun.

This is a great set. There’s so much in it. It also doubles up as a storage area for your Hot Wheels cars.It takes time to put it up and take it down – it is best left set up.You get parking for over 90 cars (we don’t have anything like that many), spread over four stories. There’s a lift for carrying two cars. One great thing is that it connects with other Hot Wheels sets. This means you can expand it with other sets and accessories over future birthdays & Christmases. There’s a long plastic launch lever – if your kids don’t treat it with respect, or if they get into an argument over using it, I can see it getting damaged or broken. The price at the time of review is £94.99 which is expensive. The price may have changed by the time you read this. It’s a very good set.
