Basically a giant Triceratops is attacking the Hot Wheels city and the only way to defeat him is to launch your cars into him. This is done via the push-down launcher (cleverly designed to resemble a truck). Once pushed down the car (one is provided with the set - model name: Crescendo) is launched at speed (if lever has been pushed at speed) along the piece of track (one of which comes with the set)

Fun to be had by young children (and adults too in some cases ? )The idea is to knock the Triceratops of balance and from destroying the city by knocking him down by launching the car at him. If you fail, he will fall on top of the city and destroy it but if you launch firmly and accurately, the Triceratops will either fall forward or backwards and you have saved the city.A firm, practised press is needed really to launch the car with needed force and accuracy to affect the dinosaur but this will get easier the more it is played with.This is good fun for most children, especially like my grandson who loves dinosaurs and cars…best of both worlds really. A toy themed around a dinosaur is always going to be a hit for any child and this Triceratops themed playset launcher is no exception. The big colourful dino is hugely exciting and interesting for children. The aim if the game is to use your cars to hit the dino and chase him away from the 'city' before he slams down and crushes it!As with all Hot Wheels sets there is a certain amount of building to be done when you open the box but luckily this set was a pretty easy build. The parts fit well and the dino is wonderfully designed and colourful!As other reviews have said the set can be a bit hit and miss with the launcher and how effective it is at knocking the dinosaur back away from the city

This is possibly the most bizarre but most fun Hot Wheels set I've (my child) has ever had the pleasure of playing with! You get 2 Hot Wheels cars, a massive green Triceratops, a piece of track, a launcher and some buildings that are like a multi-storey car park.You basically load the launcher, then keep firing the cars at the big green Triceratops until it tumbles and collapses the multi-storey knocking the cars everywhere...which you have to use from your collection. So ensure you have more cars, we have, loads! But don't underestimate how much fun this is, as good as the loop da loop ones. We had Streak Loop when we grew up, the kids of today have everything.

I’m not sure if we are teaching our kids that sending flying cars into a dinosaur is a good thing. That’s basically the concept of this game. However, it can be good fun and that’s what counts.This a big piece of plastic but looks quite durable. There are two distinct parts to the set. The dinosaur and the launcher. The dinosaur must be placed in the upright position by sliding it along its tracking. The launcher is loaded with a hot wheel’s car (one supplied) and aimed at the dinosaur. The idea is to knock the dinosaur back or forward by hitting it in the right spot with your flying car! The car shoots out of the launcher when the lever is hit.For once, there is no need for batteries,

We were amazed at the size of the dinosaur, he is huge. It comes packed in a box with him on the outside towering over everything. Our grandson is not really old enough as yet to play with this but it all works as expected and seems quite durable. However there is only one car - which is totally dwarfed by the dino - so I would suggest, as we intend to do - building up a small collection of hot wheels cars to go with it before presenting it. We have a few months to do that so it is all good. I would just add we showed our grand daughter and she thought it was brilliant and whilst understanding it was not for her there is no reason why girls can't play with cars so she is excited for future play sessions when he is old enough.

My kids love this Hot Wheels GBF97 Triceratops Play Set Launcher Vehicle,Giant Dinosaur Nemesis so much.They found it interesting and unusual toy.All family have great fun when trying to knock down this giant dinosaur,also kids happy to play and with friends.Here is stylish Hot Wheels car in a set,but kids can store more toy cars in two buildings ,they made like garages.I found this toy professionally made from high quality materials,sturdy and colourful,very attractive to kids.Good value for money,definitely recommend,perfect as a gift for Christmas.

This is really rather large!It’s a lovely large set which will thrill many a child I’m sure. There is plenty to play with on the set and the launcher is great fun. Any child that loves dinosaurs or cars will love this. I think it’s a pretty impressive present actually. I’m not sure if you can interchange lots of different types of cars but Hot Wheels cars definitely work.The dinosaur is there to try and catch the car so it’s a great game for more than one child to play with. Easy to clip together and the quality is good. I think this is great.

If your kids like dinosaurs and like hot wheels they are going to love this, the dinosaur is actually bigger than I expected and it comes as usual with one car. Fits onto any hot wheels track and its a bit of a race to stop being eaten by the dinosaur. Its pretty well built even though its plastic and came in a decent box unlike some of these products that just arrive in the wrapping. Cant fault it the kids love it.

This is an impressively large add-on set for Hot Wheels fans. The dinosaur is VERY big, and dwarfs the included Hot Wheels car. Our grandson was speechless with excitement when he saw it. As for the launcher, and other uses, I cannot really comment, as he was mainly interested in the dinosaur. The set is constructed in plastic, and should last reasonably well, unless he handles it too roughly.

I gave this to my 8 yr old Nephew for his Birthday and it was a big hit. He loved it and played with it right away. It's big and bright and what kid doesn't love smashing cars into things. It's made well and will last a long time. Almost every boy has at least 1 hot wheels track so it's great that it can be added on. I think the price is on par with other name brand toys.

Hot Wheels did an amazing job again!My son us a fan hot wheels znd he is delighted every thime he received a new toy.Came nice wrapped and have a lovely presentation with two new cars included.Durable and high quality plastic.Great value for money and I will definitely recommend it!
