We received a car called Power Rocket which changes colour from silver to bronze. To change the colour of the car properly it has to be put in ice cold water. Then to change it back you simply have to put it in warm water.Cold tap water isn't enough for it to change colour consistently so be prepared to use a lot of ice or at least keep enough water in the fridge to play with.My son loves this car and enjoyed setting up his track so that he could either jump it into a container of cold water or warm water to watch it change.Only disappointing thing is that he loves taking it in the bath but of course it doesn't change colour...

I was really apprehensive about buying this as I had read so many mixed reviews. A lot of people said they didn’t change colour. I wouldn’t have brought it as it felt very expensive but I had already purchased the hot wheels car wash and couldn’t find any colour shifter cars cheap on eBay. But I was really plead as soon as it arrived I tested it (I didn’t want to give it to my daughter only to find out it didn’t work) but it changed colour straight away. Actually quite impressive. Bit expensive but good fun if you have the car wash.

Hot wheels colour changes.Great fun for kids of all ages, when cold they are one colour and when put in hot water they change to a different colour, some are better than others, some change completely and others have transfers that change. They can be a bit expensive but you get double the fun and it keeps kids entertained for hours, to get the best and quickest results put ice in the cold water.

Was worried after reading another review saying It didn't change colour but these absolutely did my son was so happy will definitely be ordering more.Also to change colour it takes hot water and then cold water to change it back to original colour I don't know If the person who wrote that review was doing it correct

I ordered 5 and got 4 different and 2 scorpedos. So I’m Happy with my purchase giving the times and having to order most things online. not getting to choose which cars I wanted was a risk I had to take my little boy will be happy on Christmas Day

These cars are awesome. My son loved them. They do work perfect ya d are original Hot Wheels cars, but some of them work with warm water or cold water. It’s necessary to read instructions carefully or check online, but cars are legit.

These are great! We purchased ours from a local toy shop. They are quick to change colour when first put into warm water however they take a little longer to change back using VERY cold water. Have patience with the cold water!

Very good product, I purchased 4, unfortunately one wasn't working, am awaiting a replacement, frustrating I need to take a trip out to post office to return faulty item, would still recommend item I was probably just unlucky.

It’s a shame you can’t choose the colour you want but all the cars we got (3 different colours) were great and my little boy loved them.

Great fun cars from hot wheels my nephew really enjoys the way they change colour, great quality as you would expect from hotwheels

My grandson loves these cars. The only problem is you need to keep topping up the hot water but he is amazed by it every time.

£8.90 is a bit ridiculous for a hot wheels cars. But all these kind of cars are expensive so you don't really have a choice.
