I wanted to see what the cold-brew coffee was about, and this seemed a cheap way to get into it. Nice glass jug, and an easy to clean filter (the bottom unscrews for cleaning).Advice on how much coffee to use varies. I half filled the filter with a medium roast filter coffee, and poured water into the filter until the grounds were more than covered. Then I gave it a good stir, then as the filter drained, I topped up the jug, then put it in the fridge for 12-18 hours.Result - a very pleasant coffee. I tend to put a dollop in a glass and top up with ice cold milk. Very nice.The jug is also excellent for making cold-brew tea. Forget the filter, just put 3 tea (or fruit tea) bags in the jug,
