Maybe I'm a bit old school, but I have an 1TB WD Elements desktop drive, and use this item to carry it between places where I work. This makes the contents feel protected, and contains the USB cable, and plug no problem. It also has 3 internal straps to hold to hold the drive in place, and a stringy side wallet to hold various bits and pieces you might also need.One thing I would say is to measure your drive to make sure you buy the right sized drive.

Highly recommend one of these for anyone with lots of IT/audio equipment. You can use for all sorts of things, doesn't have to be just a hard drive, case is well padded with lots of space for different items. Good value for money.

This case is perfect for those larger external hard drives like the Samsung. It takes the drive and leads with no difficulties and I'm confident that the drive is well protected. Great value good quality case/bag.

2015 and im still using , still working just as good, used day in day out for work too...Bought this in 2008....belting bag, NEVER let me down.WAY better than the cheap logic bags with plastic parts.

It's a big bigger than I thought it would be (I bought them for my Samsung 3TB D3 stations; you could probably fit 2 of these HDDs into one of these carry cases). But otherwise it does the job well.

Brilliant case, hold two G-Tech 2 Terabyte drives plus leads, well padded and fit for purpose - great value and would highly recommend.

Very wlell constructed, ideal for my Freecom hard drive and leads, highly recommended, cannot fault. very good value, will buy more.

Not as padded as some of the other cases I have bought, but overall, good value for money, would buy again.
