I know people think the graphics are something from a Gamecube and they say the audio is awful. But I'm not one of those people.I like the game. This is my first racing game for the Wii and I wanted it to be a good game. So I read reviews from other people and looked at videos of the game. But when I got it I loved it right from the start. You can use the Wii remote or a steering wheel that comes bundled with the game. The controls are excellent. All you need to do is to pretend that you're driving a real car (i.e. turn the Wii remote left or right). This game features 82 Japanese cars from 10 manufacturers, like Nissan and Toyota. I also found two cars that I'd never heard of before. When you win a few championship races, you'll unlock upgrades that you can use to make your car go faster.40 of the cars are unlocked at the start of the game. There are 10 circuits each named like "Green Field" and "Heights Mountain". They can be raced in different weather conditions. They can be reversed, so there are 20 circuits in total.4 are available to race in at the start of the game. There are five game modes. Championship mode is the mode where you try to unlock cars and parts. This mode compromises of four classes (Beginner, Intermediate, Highspeed and Professional). Each class has different championships you can race in. Each championship compromises of three races and if you are in the top three, you'll earn a trophy. Bronze (3rd) may unlock a new circuit. Silver (2nd) unlocks a car part. Gold (1st) unlocks a new car. If you complete a class you'll be able to move on to the next class. To do any racing in the next class you must earn a licence. Licences are required to enter Intermediate, Highspeed and Professional. Not all the cars can be unlocked in this mode though! The next mode is Quick Race. This is where you can race on any unlocked track in any unlocked car. It's really a fun mode.Time Attack is next. You race on a track, trying to get the fastest time.If you do that you'll be able to enter your name to the leaderboard.VS is a mode where you race against each other around a circuit. Two Wii remotes or steering wheels will be required for this mode.Drift Combo is a mode where you try to drift as many times as you can. If you do enough drifts in a row you'll unlock a new car.Every time you complete a championship you should save your progress just in case you lose your stuff you've worked hard to earn.It is a great game. But it's what I think about. If you want to complain about age-old graphics and ear-piercing music, go ahead and complain all you like. But at the end of the day it doesn't matter.Graphics: 8/10 (probably the best score anyone has given it)Gameplay: 8/10Sound: 8/10Choice of cars: 10/10Choice of circuits: 10/10Overall: a very good 8/10.

Reviews are usually 5* or 1* on Amazon. Middling reviews don't seem to happen too often. However, this is a fairly middling game for the Wii -- apparently a pretty straightforward port from a Gamecube game, with the inclusion of Wiimote support. For that, though, it is reasonably fun. It does not require the player to go through a steep learning curve (one of the key factor's in Wii Sports' success at least) and the gameplay is... OK. There is no AI to speak of on the part of other cars, so you just plough your own furrow and get on with winning. The drifting element is pretty good fun, but there is drift enough in the "Racing" style -- "drift" style overdoes it.The game won't last too long as there isn't that much to get through (a limitation of the lack of a learning curve). There is a reasonable garage of cars and mods to win, a few tracks to crack... it's really a 3.5* star game, and for that, should be cheaper than it is.What can I say? If you find it on offer/sale, it's not terrible and certainly a racer you can play when you have 15 free minutes rather than a whole night session for a PS Gran Turismo title. But let's be clear - it's not in the same league as Gran Turismo or Project Gotham Racing. The visuals are decidedly last generation (not a show-stopper, but you should know) and the game has a limited shelf-life. It doesn't really show what the Wii can do, but it's still quite fun as an arcade racer. The control system certainly bodes well for other arcade racers, like Ridge Racer.

I got this as I really love the racing games. Having played GT on playstation and Forza on Xbox.I was thinking surely a good game for the Wii. It's a good game. But not outstanding. The playability is very good. The game seems to be let down I.M.O by shoddy music. Cheap Chinese ringtones lol.I feel the graphics don't do the console justice either. Using cell shaded probably made sense as there faster to render. And give the game more speed. But look a bit like a SNES.Again. The whole premise of loads of real cars and tracks. Is brilliant. It's as good GT on PS2. Except soundtrack and graphics.I like the amount of cars you get.And very customisable. So overall a well recommended game if you like GT or Forza but not the polish as the fore mentioned games.

This was the first game I bought for my Wii, and having played Gran Turismo on a PS2 the physics suprised me a little. It has awful graphics, as I am sure I am the millionth person to point out, and much drifting. This makes the game is a fun playing experiance, as long as you don't expect a proper driving game.If the music bothers you (it seems unobtrusive to me) I have a perfect solution - a radio. Or just turn the sound down and then you won't annoy your family.

GT Pro Series is a great game to play and is really realistic, you could play for hours and you wouldn't get bored. Also you get a free stering wheel, so you get more for your money. The graphics are very good and it feels like you are really driving. Overall GT Pro Series is a super game and you should go out and buy it right now.
